1,900 players entered the portal. I try to not even speculate who we should be targeting because my guesses are never right. There would be dozens that'd make perfect sense but we somehow find players unheard-of (though they usually work out).

Well that eliminates one game I can go to. Senior ceremony is also going to be after the second game tomorrow. Hate that weather is getting in the way of this most accomplished senior class in our softball program's history.

Keeping the fanbase engaged during the offseason is good and this did that. I was really surprised at how many former players got their feelings hurt on Twitter after seeing their list.

Second pick-up of the day, fourth overall from the transfer portal. I like the assists number. Hopefully Hodge and Forte get our offense moving more with guys like Floyd. Edit: This guy also has junior college experience AND winning. He won a NJCAA national championship with Northwest Florida State College. He's also from Tampa, so we could have a lot of supporters when we visit USF next season.

As long as we can get a media rights deal that is not streaming-only, this is what I'd like. The American has got some work to do to not be in the same situation that Pac is in in a few years when its media deal is up and this time is negotiating without Houston, UCF, and Cincy. While some fans may not like it, we also need to continue building our rivalry with UTSA. They have the stronger FB program right now so we need to make our two schools a package deal for any conference that pursues us if the American implodes.
