  1. Mark thanks for all your hard worn on these things. It is greatly appreciated. If I can help in some way let me know. And of course you can count on me and my husband joining. I think it might be game 7 but I'm not positive. I'd have to go back and look at all my shirts. And I do plan on playing on the winning team for the third year in a row.
  2. Coming from another female perspective the FW Main St. Arts Festival is sooooo much fun. I've been going for years. Tons of great artists and tons of things to look at and buy (arts and crafty stuff). They tend to have a lot of good food as well. But there is walking involved.
  3. We got the same packet. Very exciting. Can't wait to choose our seats.
  4. You had the two boys with you right? That was a tough game to swallow for all of us.
  5. Hubby and I will be there with our devil spawn in tow.
  6. Well you can't tell us this and not tell us which movie theater! Digging out one of my many UNT tshirts right now. lol
  7. It's no more permanent than the prank SMU pulled on TCU a few years ago. And last time I checked spray paint isn't permanent damage. It can easily be power sprayed off or just paint over it. Last time I checked young college students can do some pretty dumb things. Geez. lol
  8. TCU vandalism on Ford Stadium LOL too bad they didn't use purple spray paint.
  9. That sounds great. Let me know if you need any help!
  10. Exactly. I'm not going to hold my breath (I will cross my fingers) because I need to see it happen.
  11. Ok, back to the initial post. I looked over some of the questions/proposals on the RFP. Who will be carrying these out exactly? I've completed quite a few RFP's in my life, all of which include loyalty marketing for a hotel company or a hotel and restaurant company. One of which sponsored a particular bowl game for a few years that we went to. If these guys don't do it right the University will be wasting a phenomenal opportunity! Huge. I just hope that I see something different in the next coming months compared to what they have shown us before.
  12. That is great news! So when are we going to have the annual GMG.com bowl now that the spring game is set?
  13. I'm getting my popcorn ready to see what kind of uniform design talk this is going to stir up. I'm glad they aren't supposedly changing the colors. I like the color we have now.
  14. Alcatraz is probably a must for teenage aged children. They would enjoy it. Directly in downtown S.F. there isn't a whole heck of a lot that would probably speak to teenagers except the shopping. LOL You definitely need to take a cab down Lombard St. It's pretty crazy. If the weather is nice enough (in March you never know) I've heard Golden Gate Park is lovely as well as the S.F. Zoo. Fisherman's Wharf is something that is a must as well. Sadly, I have been going to S.F. every other month or two for a week for almost three years and my last visit was the first time that I even got to see the Golden Gate Bridge. I pretty much work the entire time I'm there.
  15. As someone who has lived in Colorado and Texas I'd take that snow any day. This ice sucks bum. I HAD to get out in it yesterday and only had to drive a mile but we don't have nice sand/salt trucks here in The Colony so me and my Jeep had some fun slipping and sliding to the gas station to get cat food... It was definitely an adventure.
  16. Just FYI I work for Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants (shameless plug) and if I can help anyone with reservations anywhere we have hotels just let me know. I've helped quite a few here during the NOLA bowls when I worked for Wyndham and we were the Sponsors. I try to do what I can. Website is KimptonHotels.com...lots of hotels in CA and my work email is Samantha.Barrera@Kimptongroup.com Thanks!
  17. Technically I'm an employee of our company's home office in San Francisco so I'm out there quite a bit. It is gorgeous. Try getting out to Napa and Sonoma sometime. Absolutely breathtaking and a completely different view that you get at the coast. Gorgeous picture! Will be in San Fran next month.
  18. The windmills wind turbines are officially in? That would be exciting indeed.
  19. Nope but I totally went with the urge to spend money at Ann Taylor. For us girls that's a huge sale!
  20. Luis and myself are a bunch of shorties so I'd be happy to sit on the bench and cheer or even better, help with food and stuff (Luis too). Provided it's not during one of my daughter's soccer games. She plays academy soccer now and pretty much plays year round.
  21. I actually would much rather see us play the Frogs in the stadium opener rather than Houston, even if it meant we might lose. It would be a for sure sellout and a lot of fun I think, but then again I have strong ties to TCU so I'm biased.
