So you guys don't want to talk expansion in an expansion thread? Seriously, three mwc schools to the aac is a very strong rumor and has potential huge ramifications for north Texas.  I'm not making this up.

Would north texas join a mwc lacking three of its current members? I wouldn't recommend it, but I have real interest as smu was in the wac with a lot of those schools.

Just wondering, with the economic impact in college sports why would the AAC look to widen it's footprint? It's hard to believe the P5 will be adding any teams. More likely to see a reduction in the number of teams considered "Power" and very hard to believe if there was expansion they would bring the entire AAC.

Why do so many think that SMU would prevent NT from entering the AAC?  They would probably try to, but they are only one vote.

I seriously doubt that UH, Tulsa, Tulane or any of their East coast teams would support NT membership.

As an aside, not many outside of NT fans would agree that NT is the best CUSA program.  Most of NT's strength is in the women's sports, and leagues seldom pick teams based on that.

Why would any school in the region where we recruit against support us moving up and perhaps having more leverage in recruiting

What about when Mason got injured and Morris came in. For example, he did solid in the HOD bowl but Jeff Wilson was the primary reason why we weren’t blown out.

He did not fit what Seth and Graham had set on offense. Getting benched to a freshman makes it worse, but in the end he got his chances but didn’t really work out at all

Maybe part of it for me is the "what might have been"
If Mason had sat out, last year would have been his Sr season.
He could still be coming back this next year

That’s interesting.  If I work for a company in Texas and my company sends me to Ohio for a month to get the Ohio branch back on track, I wouldn’t be considered an employee of an Ohio company.  I’d continue to get paid from my Texas employer.  I wonder why it’s different working for a Florida company franchised by the NFL ?

    GOD BLESS TEXAS

It is the same for all professional sports. You are taxed based on where the event is played

I have unrealistically high hopes for Rudder, but I also remember Morris a couple years ago. Night and day I think since Rudder seems to have a much higher ceiling

Was Morris really given a chance? Seems to me Seth went into the game looking for a reason to pull him. Happy with Mason's success, but I have always whished he could have set out the first season

  6. Look at the way that Tampa Bay worked with Brady concerning Trask compared to the cluster F in Green Bay. Now Brady will be open to help Trask and Trask will not be thrown to the Wolfs. Darden is in a potentially great place and as mentioned, TB has a history of helping unknown players standout.

I almost never come over here. Don’t know why this is now the 6th page of the discussion. The heading is that this cop was found guilty. The whole world saw this video of over 8 minutes. There should be consensus with this verdict; with no further discussion. Instead, there was a diversion to defending cops and blaming victims.

For most of my life, I have resided in a mostly African American community. My current residence was about 70% Anglo when I purchased my home. (white flight took over) I don’t know of a black person that does not support good cops. I actually wanted to pursue the profession in high school but my parents vehemently opposed.

It is the toughest job I know and they deserve to return home each night. Unfortunately, there are bad apples who abuse their authority. Often times stopping and arresting folks disproportionately. I agree that everyone must comply. However, many of the frequent headlines are because victims were complying or not a threat to the officers. The theme is often, “I feared for my life”

Thankfully, this is a small minority of cops. Conversely, most black people do not commit crimes, though higher than the general population. Most protests I’ve seen are mostly peaceful; void of the negative images often on the news.

I hope we can all agree that something needs to be done. No one should lose their life when they are pulled over a tail light, passing an alleged $20 bill, sleeping in their car or running away from a cop (because they may an outstanding ticket). Apprehend them and let the court decide their punishment. De-escalate as much as possible.

To conclude, yes, all bad cops need to be held accountable to the full extent of the law. Period.

    Very nice

To my memory, could be wrong, but Kiper has a history of not giving even a wink of his attention to non-P5 players, unless their near-locks for Day 1.

Most are like that. It seems like more "respect" is given to FBS players over G5. Case in point - the QBs taken 2nd and 3rd yesterday. For Zack Wilson they went on and on about the "cupcake" schedule he played against (ESPN must of been getting paid every time the word "cupcake" was used because it was used so often when talking about Wilson). How the competition was so much lower that P5 QBs. Then for Trey Lane, not that big of a deal was made of the competition level. Focuses how raw and what a ceiling he had after playing in only 17 college games.

I'm really not saying either way and I didn't mean to stray from the topic. It's 4 pages full of talk and recent activities of the police nationwide and people discussing reforms. I added a story that's very relevant to the topic at hand, but it's not a "see these cops are all insurrectionists trumpers", simply that the article reveals an unusually high number of police belong to those doing the most illegal of acts 4 months ago. So does that mean 20% of them supported it? I won't make that conclusion, but it speaks to the culture of police when you have one or two similar occupations making up that large of a percentage.

Here's a portion of AWS' lawsuit into why they dropped them, so make of that what you will.  Please don't make me defend amazon any more than i have to though.

Just wondering how many acts of violence or even murders have been live streamed on Facebook? Should they be removed?
