I wish there was some way to pull NCAA data, look at every single person who ever played as a graduate, and see if they did it at their original school or a new one.

    Might see some interesting trends.

Along this line I wonder how often a player who might be considered on of their schools greatest players transfers out? Should a player who finishes their career at another school be in a schools HOF? Things like this make me appreciate Mason more and more.

Update: Ulnaers won this weeks challenge tour by 5 shots. This netted 32k euros ( a little under 40k dollar). That should get him an immediate upgrade so he can play at least on that tour this year.

Cazaubon finished 10th on the PGA Latinoamerica this week. That didn't really move the needle much.

    Accepting the trophy

I think it’s clear - if you are a high school player and perform at a G5 you will be targeted by high level conference schools.  It’s really sad because tampering is against the rules but the NCAA is scared to death to do anything about it.

The NCAA will not do anything to P5 conferences for fear they will leave the NCAA (which is going to happen anyway)

  4. The idiots at the NCAA always knew this would happen .... but then there was a problem

They thought it would be P5 programs grabbing the top players from G5 and FCS and they were OK with that. Then something else happened; P5 programs are poaching other 55 programs. There are programs who have full time staff dedicated to looking for transfers (any way they can). They are reaching out to players and saying we will start you! Coaches are feeling the pressure to try and play new players so they don't look elsewhere and also having to worry about upperclassmen who in the past would stay for depth when a new "star" would come in, but now look elsewhere.

Easy to forecast that the conference strength pecking order will change often among the G5.
I still think UNT should grow some family jewels, copy 🐸 TCU; that is, remove itself from all the conglomeration of schools who TCU removed itself from & then try to gain admittance to the MWC.   4 from CUSA West Division going westward would be fine, too.

Maybe it's time instead of trying to switch conferences constantly we just focus on being the best program we can be
