    More like

    NWST: Win

    SMU: loss

UAB: more of a loss but could be close

    LT: tossup

    Mizzou: Loss

    Marshall: Tossup

    Liberty: Tossup

Rice: more of a tossup since in Houston

    USM: Tossup

    UTEP: Win

FIU: more of a win but could be a tossup since in Miami

UTSA: more of a loss but could be close since at Apogee

    I think 5-7 is realistic

I agree, except for Liberty. Freeze is a very good coach and he is probably coaching for a major P5 job after this coming season.

Not sure that Defensive depth chart is accurate based on PB's new scheme and the spring game reps.

PB likes playing 2 LB's and a hybrid DE instead of 3 LB's. If you look back at Baylor games and even Arizona State, expect a lot of multiple fronts and packages. The DB's will also be adjusted to fit the team they are playing. Should be exciting.

I believe (hope) this is something we will see with PB. He will have his base formation(s), but he will adjust based on the opponent and be more willing to make in-game adjustments. I think his willingness to move things around will also help to make it a little harder for other teams to game plan.

Oh I agree with that, 100%. I was just trying to make the case that unless you are at a UNC, Duke, Kentucky type place, midmajors and P5s have an equal chance of getting to and advancing in the tourney.

Would be nice to see Gonzaga and U of H in the finals - The Power Conferences would probably demand a restructuring of the tournament 😈

70% in NCAA FBS football who apply for the portal are left waiting at the alter.  Wonder what it will be for men’s & women’s basketball that will end up being no more than a lateral move or less?

NCAA Presidents need to raise holy hell with the Rules Committee over all this.  It’s disruptive as hell & it does not promote loyalty to the schools who originally signed the student-athletes.  This has the smell of P5 all over it.

Giving the players what they think they want is not always the best way to help theses same players. The grass is not always greener and sadly a big portion are left without a scholarship.

If your defense is dominating, it's harder for the offense to get it's rhythm down and for things to sync like it's supposed to. And, It's harder to grade players you really need to see perform.

Never been a fan of staging success to make you look good

does not cover the fact we have been not very good in football for a long time, yes we have some up years but overall not so good.   We do not compete in the big 12 but we struggle in CUSA.   We barely beat UTEP with their 4th string qb last year.

You're actually trying to compare our football team's success to Kansas is success in the past few seasons?

Glass houses........Send KU our game films from last year and sure they would schedule us. I rather play KU than Lamar or Mizzou.

Not anywhere near a glass house. To have the resources and financial income they have and to be this bad of a program is almost unprecedented
