    I like this hire a lot! The more I read about this guy, the more excited I get. So much more exciting than the Bowen hire ever was. And the best part is that it wasn’t my worst case scenario... an Ek promotion.

    I would hope he wouldn’t go after someone he knew he wouldn’t be able to lure away. I’m hopeful.

    I don’t disagree. But where do you draw the line? Would you do that for schools that wait until after signing day to fire a DC too?

    I believe it was that same kid that did an almost identical catch against Frisco Lone Star about a month ago.

    I wish that philosophy was used all around our program. We’re still running an offense for a gunslinger like Mason and expecting a runner like Bean to execute it. This year, we desperately needed more plays designed for Bean’s strength as a runner.

    I got push notifications from ESPN about the firing and hiring about 30-40 mins apart from each other. That’s quick work!!

    So how in the hell do we stream CFL games?

    The worst part is that only 1 of the 4 losses to SBC were even competitive. But to be fair, it’s not like these matches were putting the best of CUSA vs the best of SBC. We had no business playing App State from the beginning.

    Did he even play in the bowl game? He doesn’t have any stats registered in the box score.

    And the game just got moved to Arlington. 😮

    Is that because CUSA is run so well that you don’t care what P5 conferences do?

    That wouldn't really fit the description of someone wanting to stay closer to home though. A&M isn't too much further than UNT from where he's currently at.
