  1. I don't think I can take either for very much longer. Is this a cry for help?
  2. NT03 (4forcu), You obviously have not been following the ofseason closely. Have you heard about our kicking?
  3. Meltdown by LD of a 23-14 lead with just over 4 min left leads to a Pearce time-expiring field goal for a 24-23 win.
  4. No, TheFakeLonnieFinch is not done with the prototype yet.
  5. OK. I didn't get to participate in this thread last year, so I left plenty of time for anyone to pick up their guys from last year... No one took the all-conference LB, #42 Craig Robertson, so I'll adopt him! Earn your NFL ticket this year Craig! We're pulling for you!
  6. Wow. That's too bad. MT had a chance to run over Minnesota this year and continue piling up wins against AQ schools as well as making a run at another 10 win season. This leaves them with an uphill climb. Dwight Dasher, "You are really dumb, for real"
  7. I hate that too. Especially after returning from a weeklong trip to Guadalajara. Montezuma: You win!
  8. Richardson Pearce Mustangs @ Lake Dallas Falcons Kind of torn here because I went to Pearce, but have lived in the LDISD for 4 years now and have adopted them. I just want to see some football! Go Mustangs! Go Falcons!
  9. I hope we can field the kick cleanly and progress it past the 20 without fumbling. OR, Special Teams covers a booming kick well and Clemson starts no further than their own 25. Please!
  10. You like York over Robinson from Eastland (as far as PF goes)?
  11. Great! Although it looks like Abron has trimmed down his list and has 3 schools listed with his interest as "high", and we're not one of those. Side note: I thought JJ offered Karim York. Is that not the case?
  12. See how fantastic GMG.com can be when the politically charged threads are no longer ruining the PIE forum? I would like to thank each and every one of you, regardless of political leanings, for your unwavering support to keep GMG.com clean and wonderful for us all, and for holstering your opinions for the sake of the Mean Green! HUGS!! - MeanGreenTexan
  13. Yeah, it's not like DeAndre McDaniel or Da'Quon Bowers won't be 1st round picks in next year's draft or anything. You gotta admit the risk is there for Bowers to blow by Gill and hit Tune VERY hard, or for McDaniel to punish one of the WR's for lingering in the middle too long. However, I do agree that you play your best players in every situation. Clemson or D-3 Trinity.
  14. Good question! Maybe LaTech gave themselves that provision when they signed on the first time? There will probably be news around that soon. Hopefully, they accepted Wright Waters' invitation.
  15. GMG.com have too much speed-readers, but you tried to reading 4 content.
  16. I heard it was between that one, or this one: Either way, the shades and a smile are a must.
  17. I wish this thought would just die. I would be so much angrier if Dodge admitted that he intentionally did not put the best available QB in to save a redshirt. It's all about WINNING. You put the best options on the field. 10 games or 60 seconds. If you have a chance to win the game (and we did), try your hardest to win it. Dodge did. Thompson did. There's nothing wrong there. Dodge down. Tune down. Baine didn't travel. Thompson is next in line. Yes, Hamilton, Carey, etc... played QB in high school, but they were not the ones Dodge chose to use in order to win the game. Is it unfortunate that his redshirt was burned with only a few plays? Absolutely. Was it the right choice? Absolutley! Ask Thompson himself. I don't think there would be a QB competition (which made both of them better IMO) this offseason if Thompson did not play those minutes in Jonesboro.
  18. ...Until it's torn down to complete the horseshoe when we upgrade.
  19. I would look for somewhere between 23K & 24K average for next season. There is alot of anticipation about the stadium so I would expect the place to be packed for the Houston opener. That should help the average remain at least above 20K all season.
  20. SMASH: Gotta be the crummy pressbox/suite tower. GRAB: One of the Funnel Cake machines, or a waterless urinal. First Memory: The Baylor game in 2000, my freshman year.
  21. "dominate" is a very strong word. You know they have future NFL players on their D-Line right now correct? We need to hope that the O-Line can even "hold their own" against Clemson's D-Line. Otherwise, it will be a 5TD+ blowout.
  22. I think it would be a good argument to consider MT & Troy ahead of UNT for CUSA expansion right now. MT especially. However, even without green-tinted glasses, UNT has too much going for it (outside of football results) to worry that package-wise, we've been passed by anyone in the Belt. We simply have too much to offer, and now that Mr. Rawlins is in the drivers seat, we have too many friends in high places in CUSA.
