  1. It was one game, stop complaining. It is was more important to have a senior in there in the first game. Besides, there is already a thread about this...
  2. "I say throw them in the SEC and see how lucky they get in that conference" This comment was intelligent. Why would someone say that? I don't get it. Is he implying that if we were in a better conf. our "luck" (really want, will, and talent of our players" against his team would run out? Here's my comment, I say throw them in the SEC and see the "unforced" fumble column quadruple
  3. I'm not saying all of them were, and in the redzone you look to force turnovers anyway, even if they weren't. Do you have a photographic memory? Or did they actually choose to show 5 replays of an NT interception in the Buro so that you could actually see what happened through beer goggles?
  4. Meager should have had 3 picks in that game. He should be thankful Quinn saved his butt a couple of times while being sick, no less. No way he is better than Andrew Smith. Smith was a leader, and had a very cool head.
  5. I like the old scrappy's head
  6. You can't possibly tell me that all 5 were unforced. Coverage sacks were coming and Marks made the wrong decision in trying to get rid of it. We forced some bad throws. Our D played in position. very good job on D. Meager needs TONS more reps. Mt's defense looked good, LBs were very well coached to counter out running game. Don't expect many more games where we get shut down on the run like that. Your argument for us not being there is absurd. I saw on replay 5 times how the interceptions were forced. We dodged 3 bullets, everytime Meager tried to throw over 20 yards the ball was underthrown and had bad placement. MT defenders need to get way better on their catching skills. Dickey and flanigan i think will do a good job giving Meager the confidence he needs. Biggest loss will be against LSU.
  7. wow, i dont agree with a word you just typed.
  8. they just mentioned all the backs that they would have their hands full with NT and thomas included and put a graphic up with thomas as nations leading rusher and deangelo willams and adrian peterson. good props for nt
  9. I would say dont worry about tulsa, we won't make the mistakes that ou (qb) is making. They have fallen hard
  10. If MT was able to stop Alabama's running game it just means Alabama's running game sucks, not that MT's defense is awesome. In fact, at this point in the season, MT's performance last week was good enough for 46th place overall in rush defense, tied with BYU. So where does Alabama's rushing attack rate? 50 Good Job
  11. LOL, and your defense this year isn't anywhere near as good as Colorado's last year.
  12. The way Merril is turning off tackles they might be able to do that.
  13. I cannot beleive that after a TO by OU, Paul Thompson goes back out and calls another TO. Poor idea in a game this close, and behind.
  14. #3 Ten. leads UAB 17-10 w/ 7:00 left in the 4th
  15. Heard they already thought of taking away DPD's vacation days, but decided against it for now. Please keep us posted emmitt. I, for one, am all about helping out neighbors, but Texas alone cannot bear this burden, and I would hate to think what my state would turn into. We already have problems of our own.
  16. It is very important for both schools to reschedule this game, LSU stands to lose 3mil in gate alone. In my eyes we are owed a few favors by our conf. mates for moving games around to fit their schedules and as well as being a leader of the conf. With this much money on the line, there has got to be some solution.
  17. I heard A&M was on the sched next year
  18. I was thinking the same thing, just didnt wanna seem petty in my accusations. Mis-educated Cajuns, what else is new? I love the post which points at the only 2 games our running game didn't show up for last year. Texas (JT had one carry) and baylor (still only played a 1/4 if i remember right) and Cobbs of course was out and he still lead the nation in rushing. They didn't care to share the Colorado game stats. And... they fail to see that JT was offered by Colo. and Ark. as well as some other schools. But whatever, they will probably win (i hope not) but that's where we're at. At least give credit where credit is due. Some over there have it right.
  19. They probably do it to protect their investment. A lot of the bigger colleges keep their lights on everynight of the year to make sure nothing gets vandalized. Until the new turf was put in, it probably wasn't needed. They were probably praying for someone to go vandalize the old turf so that they could get the new stuff.
  20. Rediculous statement! Athletes live for hype and pressure. To be the best you have to put that sort of pressure on yourself. It would be a travesty if we didn't hype them up after what they have done for this school.
  21. I voted NO because frankly im quite sick of the NCAA telling educational institutions what they can and cannot do.
  22. Nice Trojanman, the people who say that they are offended by this are the ones looking for either monetary compensation, or simply are not happy unless they are bitching about something. The same people who call them Indians anyways in a daily conversation. Absolutely assenine
  23. Numbers going in now, not too much longer...
  24. WB33 had some good coverage as well
