  1. I am even worried about this game.
  2. Meant to do that? He didn’t look surprised.
  3. No team in this conference can be overlooked or given less than 95%.
  4. We must figure out offense in the last 5 minutes of the game and stop Luka / Tylor gazing.
  5. Yeah,I am feeling even more inspired to go. I am kind of angry losing to them . They seem like good guys but I am still mad .
  6. I’ll be there . Dan Leal class of ‘95 RTVF , KNTU /NTTV sports
  7. I think we will need to take some “chances “ on people passed on by the power conferences. When personal maturity starts to happen so too does work ethic. Add this to physical gifts and boom, diamonds can be found .
  8. The all out differal to the star player usually interrupts the offense . Also , opponents are running 2 at Tylor at top of key late . A dribble driver to kick it out to Tylor would be nice . Kai and Rubin look unsure late due to that differal.
  9. Agree on Kai being that guy . Tylor can not do this a lot due to opposition interior size and punishment on him. I wonder if Alex Cotton is a slasher ?
  10. Wow ! am seeing lots of complaining. Let me remind us with two words: Trilli, Benford.
  11. I love this team. I’ll take heart all day !
  12. It takes 40 tough minutes every game in this league. I like our toughness.
  13. It’s the little things that will make the difference in conference play : free throw shooting, limit turnovers, and good ball movement.
  14. Agree 100% on Moore . Give him 3 minutes per half to get him experience. 2 minutes per half to Morgan too.
  15. Being a head coach has a lot to do with great leadership. We have hired Coach Morris banking on him being a great leader AND football mind. You can not measure the coaching staff until they come under this leader and until they get a chance to prove themselves in this system. Leaders build leaders. Let's give Coach Morris a chance to do that.
  16. When Abou is out, the UNT offense iooks like that of the Mavs: Give the ball to Luka / Tylor and let him do his thing and "I don't want the ball because Luka / Tylor is in charge." The difference is Luka is big and can get his own shot whenever. Tylor is 5'11 and can't do the same consistently (no knock on Tylor at all as it is a size thing. So, what's the answer? 1.) Abou not in foul trouble and the offense runs similar to when it did with Zach in the middle as Abou draws similar attention. 2.) If Abou is in foul trouble, then we need Kai to dribble penetrate too and get the ball rotating. Open shots are better for Stone, Rubin and Eady. 3.) Tylor can continue to do his thing but not every possession so he gets a break once in a while and so the offense has some mix to its flow.
  17. 3 keys to victory 1. Abou established in he paint and not in foul trouble 2. Shoot 40% from 3 point range 3. Perimeter defense holds FAU to under 30% beyond the arc. (I'm a genious....no Captain Obvious)
  18. I hope the opponent focus on Abou contributes to better 3 point % with ball movement. Tylor is a really good shooter. We need others to shoot a bit better.
  19. Get Germany in foul trouble and it’s a blowout. If he gets Abou in foul trouble, it could be really close .
  20. You don’t know what you don’t know and none of us know. So….I am excited about the possibilities. Younger coaches who can relate to players , who have passion, and likely have been humble in learning from other coaches to get them to this point.
  21. We must move quick . We also lost a juco OL, Deonte Bowie, who had interest to South Florida.
