Its not just sports, its just about everything. I have gone to performances in the Murchinson center and its practically empty. People on this board have complained about the cost of events which are super cheap compared to other universities or the weather or the commute or the start time etc. The Denton culture is very strange but its not limited to sports.

Yep, you are right. I was thinking Ford Center was around 18k. Never the less, much too small to host a bowl game. I am geared up ready to buy tickets no matter where they play.

Frisco Bowl is played at Toyota Stadium, wonder if the unnamed bowl will be at The Star? I don't think capacity is much different between the 2.

I graduated from North Texas and was enlisted in the Air Force. That one would be tough, split allegiance. I am still hoping for Tulsa in Frisco.
