  1. Saw this and it is concerning. Need to keep our kicking excellence going.
  2. I noticed the HS kicker isn’t listed in the pending offers— I know we signed the transfer from Baylor but are we going to get him— or is the last spot the Hutto LB? Or is he coming as a PWO? Any chance we get the Wilson kid from Byron Nelson to come as. PWO? preferred order for me: 1. Smith, DL; 2. Starling, DB; 3. Kim, K; Wilson, QB; or Hutto LB (any of these three to round out the class)
  3. Listed as a LB on some sights and S on others. Which one is he for is?? My guess is S.
  4. Not to my knowledge but a concern. But I’m sure he would tell them about his friends if they are looking for those positions. I would think Starling, being higher rated, might cause a pause if CB is a need for them.
  5. That is what I thought happened yesterday when Moore committed. He also has a better frame to build on that should be the big MLB that the Iowa State system demands. My fear is that Starling and the DT from SOC follow him to FSU. That would be a gut punch.
  6. Sissoko looked great!!! Glad to see him get some minutes. Morris could use him as a D End.
  7. Also Wr— Gavin McCurley was one of his two main targets the other is already on campus at Rice
  8. @TheReal_jayD would they offer Blue/Gray shirt opportunity?? Also, the kid that will take over for him is just as good- Tom VG.
  9. https://247sports.com/Player/Jake-Wilson-46130580/ (Only junior year highlights posted) Why isn’t this kid getting any looks? Senior season he threw for over 4,100 yards, 50 TD’s, only 4 Ints, and completed 72% of his passes. He is the two time 4-6A Offensive player of the year. That is a 12.5 to 1 ratio on TD to int. And was a three year starter that improved every year. Junior and senior year went three rounds deep in the playoffs. Have our coaches evaluated him? He is a pocket passer but at least at the 6A level has the wheels to escape the pocket and run. I would think this would at least get a POW offer?
  10. Luckily we should pull this out b/c we shot the 3 so well in the first half. But only 19 pts in 17:30 of play in the second half ain’t going to cut it. We have championship type defense but we aren’t consistent enough on offense to truly be elite.
  11. This is our offensive philosophy. And if we shoot the 3 well (above 50%) then we have a shot at winning. But it usually leads to second half disappointments. Even in our wins this season we are not dynamic enough in the second half to sustain.
  12. Until our last two possessions we had only scored 6 second half points in almost 8 minutes. Now we have scored 2 possessions in a row. For 11 second half points at the 12 min timeout
  13. This is pathetic!! No offense ever. Second half collapse again.
  14. Thanks for pointing that out to him. I was like— old news — if it was DL.
  15. How about better offense play design in general, not relying on threes so much, and not waiting to run the offense with 8 or fewer seconds left on the shot clock every time down.
  16. Well- we know players make the plays but coach design them. End of games have been awful this season. Really the second half of most games— that is on the coaches to fix!
  17. The two wide open missed layups at the end of the half will cost us— and the goal tending
  18. WTH!! Can’t wiffffff on lay ups
