  1. Need to tighten up what we do— should have closed this out with that big of a half time lead.
  2. Yes- but it is not like we didn’t have drops too.
  3. OT, WR, DB, QB, DL, and LB not in a particular order.
  4. @TheReal_jayD thanks for your continued hard work to build relationships and bring us the news. This has turned out to be a well balanced staff - I was uncertain for a time. Very good on paper for recruiting and I hope that we start to see the fruits of their labor.
  5. Who are the visitors that we are expecting next week?
  6. Jake Wilson out Byron Nelson— most prolific passer in the DFW this year. Three rounds deep in the playoffs the last two years. Preferred WO???? https://247sports.com/Player/Jake-Wilson-46130580/
  7. Well, @TheReal_jayD, what does “taking over south Dallas” mean? We aren’t taking kids away from P5 programs that matter— meaning we aren’t going to be competing with the LSU, OU, or Tu’s of the world. So— does that mean multiple high level 3 ✨or even four ✨? But just because you get talent doesn’t mean it works out— the vast inexperience (2GA’s and a position coach) running a 3-3-5 worries me. Recruiting is the name of the game but the goal will be to not coach’em down. I hope I’m wrong. And they succeed.
  8. 0-6 from the field and 0-1 from the one in the final 5:24
  9. Correct— bring in talent doesn’t mean you can coach it— I hope That we see some veterans among the remaining hires. Need a little gray hair on the staff as well (which we have in the TE and STC)- defensive side of the ball. Salty Dline coach is what I’m thinking.
  10. One year as a GA in the system isn’t a ton— looks like a “we are running out of money” kinda hire. He has recruiting experience but this worries me about putting together a stout defensive staff. I hope he works out.
  11. So- is the SID the one that is keeping us in the news- by slow release??
  12. S. Sanders is still undeclared B. Lewis is committed to U. Nevada
  13. @TheReal_jayD is right, people. You would never encourage one of your better players to leave. Relationships matter and in this short window — they TE situation at the school matters. He will take a hard look at both Cal and Tenn. but does he feel those places offer the best shot at playing and the NFL. And NIL $$$$$
  14. I spoke to soon but Ward did have 107 rushing attempts - second most for WSU this season. But both are more pocket style— Ward though dose have some movement to him but Copeland didn’t. Bowman was a statue and injury prone- no thanks.
  15. I would be shocked by this since he is a pocket passer and Morris prefers a dual threat type.
  16. https://247sports.com/Player/Spencer-Sanders-76560/ (1 yr eligibility I believe) https://247sports.com/Player/Brendon-Lewis-46036862/ (2-3 yrs)
