  1. Let's keep settling for mid range jumpers and 3s that we keep missing and let's let them put their head down and score points at the free throw stripe. If we do this enough, we'll piss away another game.
  2. Got a taste of Wyoming on the road this past season. Doing damage control to that future schedule.
  3. Because it's not. He supports an individual. People have gotten into his feelings.
  4. Sure, but nothing like this past game thread. But understand, we have been spoiled with efficiency at the offensive end of the court, particularly at the 1 and 2. Jason Edwards has some very good attributes, but efficiency is not one of them. And that may be the driving force to the negativity.
  5. Of all games to cherry pick a point, it's certain to be this one you select. He shot 30% from the field, 11% from 3, 2 TO v 1 asst, and 15 points on 20 shots. That warrants every single critique he received. Surprised it wasn't more with that kind of line.
  6. Sounds to me you have a butt full of hurt. Do you cry when you read negative things about Edwards? Have you sought out therapy? You don't have to do this alone.
  7. Are you Edwards' bandwagon coat riding fan cousin or something? There is definitely warranted criticism for him. There is definitely warranted criticism for other players. There is definitely warranted criticism for coaching. All can be true. And is.
  8. No... that's OK. You're arguing over baseless stuff. Percentage vs Percentage points. Please leave your posts up. It shines a light on your insufferable acumen. However, I think the root cause today for your misery is that booty must still be sore from the hokes.
  9. I don't understand how this conference is 1 bid. It's a highly competitive conference at the top that should dictate 2 bids. Memphis and FAU playing pretty well vs a pretty difficult schedule in noncon then struggling in leauge play is indicative of that.
  10. There has been a whole number 10% drop in his forte, 3pt shooting. He was dubbed by his own coach as the, "best shooter in the country."
  11. This team misses him, yes. It's worth pointing out that he plays huge minutes at kstate and his fg and 3pt percentages have dropped 10% in the big12.
  12. I've been pretty busy, but I wanted to post some observations. And I don't want to come off as sounding anything like @rojomojo, but there are concerns here... 1. Ross is getting outcoached more than he is out coaching. He let's runs go on and rarely interrupts them with timeouts. He leaves timeouts on the board in late game situations. He doesn't set plays for crucial pivot points of games, disrupting a momentum swing with a set bucket, out of timeout under our basket he seems content on getting the ball in bounds rather than running a set for an easy bucket, from a far he doesn't seem to demand perfection during games, doesn't work officials throughout games, etc. I'm not saying he's out of his element, but he clearly has a lot to learn at this level of basketball. I didn't expect to win conference, and I didn't even expect to be a top 4 seed. I did expect to flirt with 20 wins. That's the barometer in building programs, stacking 20-win seasons. 2. I like Aaron Scott, his length, his hustle, but he has to be a more consistent producer offensively. He no shows too frequently. 3. Jason Edwards: he's a bucket getting that plays with no efficiency. He has to be a volume shooter to be a volume scorer, because he doesn't know how to draw contact. He plays away from contact. In the NBA, that's fine. This isn't that. Also, he is a suspect ball handler that doesn't really need to be the 1, ever. 4. Our bigs: They play well in spurts and then it's as if they aren't even on the floor in large portions of the game. 5. Injuries have hurt us. No other way to put it. Rubin being absent has hurt the most, particularly for his defensive play. 6. Defensively, we aren't the same team, because we aren't the same team on offense. It's very clear Mac dictated our pace when he was here, and Ross benefitted by that as the defensive assistant. 7. Minimum goal from here on out: do not finish below .500 and go win a game in the conference tourney. NIT is probably out of the picture, so accept the CBI invitation and let's see if we can put together a run in that.
  13. @HoosMeanGreen Good on you. I agree with some things have to say. I disagree with your delivery, and coming from me, that's saying something. But we need more fans. So, welcome aboard. Also, we don't need snark. As a fan base we are drug through the mud enough as it is. We certainly don't need it happening internally.
  14. Grandpa? I'm in my 30s lil homie
  15. Ladies and gentlemen, this is word soup. Lot's of statements with no verifiable meaning in hopes of providing rationale to the populace. A tactful approach used in politics. In short, bullshit.
  16. They wear Dallas on their football jerseys, too. They also have an alt logo of the Dallas "D." It has nothing to do with us as they wear it in both sports with frequency.
  17. Yeah, you gotta have juice off the bench. Otherwise, you're going to war with 1 magazine.
  18. But, technically, per your logic, the Cowboys are due a name change. The Arlington Cowboys has a certain ring to it. Could grow on me.
  19. They are the closest D1 university playing FBS athletics.
  20. It's a very weak excuse. You are right. But I feel like outside of the ECU game no call, we're getting the brunt of the bad calls when the opponent has the ball and no calls when we have the ball. Back to back games refs try to will our opponent to victory. Is what it is. Gotta take care of UAB. Could be, and we need to be 15-7 heading into Moody if we play decently well.
  21. That was complete BS and gave them 5 points. That and the terrible out of bounds call that gave them the ball and an inbound play 3. Two terrible calls (among 2 or 3 others, but these jump out) = why FAU won.
