  1. I'm not saying SL is out doing that. Other people are. But a athletic department needs to be tweeting and trying to hype up the product as much as possible all the time. We have no other choice but to wait it out and see it how plays. I think it's safe to say we can all agree that it's not looking promising as of now. WKU - TX State - US on same day of TX State, but announced after the State offer. 4 D2 + Tarelton offered before anyone. It's not about the evaluation. Many programs at their respective levels are after the same kids. It's about LANDING them.
  2. There is no way to stealth Coy Eakin. If Kansas State wants him and wants to go there, he'll go there. You don't play for a program like Stephenville then have a state game like he had and not be noticed. The programs that want to know about him, know about him.
  3. They need to be telling Twitter about EVERYTHING. That's a part of recruiting, a big part.
  4. Yup. People need to vent because reality doesn't want to be recognized. Yes, going into that year. You could make that case for every team in the country. But the moment was big and we laid a fat egg. And continue to do so some 6+ years later. Let us needle into details and not recognize the point and problem at hand.
  5. Yet, here you are. What I stated there and the teams ineptness to qualify for bowl eligibility vs a very bad team can both be true, no?
  6. 301 yards on 24 attempts. A future NFL running back, sure. God, nah. Defend the absolute definition of mediocrity. That's your choice.
  7. It's well documented I lost all faith in SL in November of 2016 when he took a 5-6 UNT team into El Paso with bowl eligibility on the line and got throat punched by a 3-8 UTEP team by 30. It was uninspired and unmotivated football. Since, he's lost to just about every competitive team we've played save UTSA this year. Army in I believe 2018 if you're really counting. Piss on 9 wins. Look at the wins. And really dive into the losses in the same window of time. It's pathetic. It's gotten worse. And the rumor is he's got it in cruise control while we get dominated in recruiting. Hopefully that's enough proof for you.
  8. You say 5-3 "in conference" as if that validates anyone or anything. Look at those opponents. Look at this conference. Look at the momentum. Why are you defending this?
  9. He was right around .500 during first extension. Point stands. Move on. Quit defending mediocrity. There's no point. It's not helpful.
  10. We've extended a guy twice that is right at .500. That's the point.
  11. It's history of the athletic department. Until it changes why would he not be correct?
  12. Dang, not even old bs offers coming out of high school. We've moved straight to "perfect fit". Yeesh
  13. But, but, but, Seth Littrell? We're going go get muffin punched.
  14. No. People are complaining because as it sits this class is awful. Pair that with having 0 recruiting momentum.
  15. Get ready to start hearing a lot of, but..."coming out of high school he was a X star player with y offers". This assuming we go JUCO like I think we will, or seemingly have to, right? If you ever are contemplating if the plug needs pulling, look at recruiting momentum. WB has him as his own now.
  16. Second chance? He should sue anyone in his path. He doesn't deserve a second chance, he should demand his 1st chance back. The court of law dictates innocence or guilt, not the public.
  17. I mean, maybe. The point he made would definitely have more credence if say Zach Orr stated it. But his point was well made nonetheless.
  18. His point is valid. The authenticity, shaky. He transferred to us. But absolutely. If even just most of the DFW talent stayed local, UNT, TCU, and SMU would be top25 teams most years.
  19. I think they might just be more focused on preparing leaders. THEN, they'll start building a champion team.
  20. Doesn't make it cool. And the no penalty transfer rules happening alongside pay for play makes it all even more ridiculous.
  21. Ncaa sanctions? They do nothing to anyone unless you're at Montana Tech.
