I would never again expect any fans, recruits, reporters or anyone for that matter to take the UNT football program seriously. I would expect UNT to go on probation for having less than 15,000 attendance per home game. I would expect that less than 500 season tickets get sold. And any and all football/sports denotations dry up and blow a way. If the school will not take the proper action in the proper time to grow and nurture our football program why trust them with our money.

To make this statement this late into the season, toward the end of the 9th year by a coach that has the worst winning percentage in school history is a joke. Talk about a little too little way too late. Also keep in mind La Tech has the worst D in Division 1. Fire Dickey don't buy into this BS.

I will argue that UNT can't afford to keep DD, and if for some silly reason they keep DD it will be a near fatal blow to the Football program. Terms for resignation are very negotiable and won't cost that much. But I know my group, plus the group we tailgate with will be done if DD COMES BACK. That accounts for about 50 season tickets plus several MGC memberships.

Your sign came out one of the best, I made it 60" x 90" and would be great to see at the next game to reinforce how PO-ed the fans are. I think there would be many advantages to having DD resign early, from recruiting to actively searching for a new coach. Also the administration would show they are serious about improving our football program, for the sake of the fan base, recruits, sponsors, and donors.

Do you all realize that is not how things work, UNT and DD will work out a mutually beneficial agreement where DD will get to resign and the school pays him some fraction of what is left on his contract. DD can get his health under control and find a job somewhere else. In the end it is usually better to save face than to fight tooth and nail to show what an ass you are. Meaning if DD tries to fight the school no other school would ever hire him. Not to mention that the school could work several angles at this point if they wanted to, from a termination such as non-performance based on the belief that DD is not healthy enough to run the program to failure follow guidelines. People don't kid yourselves UNT has plenty of options.

I can guarantee that our group of 18 season tickets and MGC will not be back next year if DD and staff are still here, further more I have already told the Business Department not to call me again for a donation until Dickey and his coaching staff are gone. I fully expect to see DD resignation this week.

Just one question, the non-DD supporters, are we still the Dark side and if so is there anyone left on the other side, and what would they be called?
