Rookie contracts (are non guaranteed) but the signing bonus is all there's. If they think another teams looking at you offer maybe 30-50 k signing bonus as for actual $ amount I am not to sure. The least a player taken in 7th round can make is 2.25 million over 4 years with 1st year being 54,000 I'm sure un drafted guys are different

Not sure what HS coach worth his weight would tell a kid to NOT commit to a big 12 school when offered a full ride scholarship. Just does not make much sense.

Bunch of kids who wanna be thugs but aren't because they live in Denton and wouldn't last 5 minutes in a real "hood" ie sout Chicago or Houston's 3rd ward. Richmond will be a guy who tells cool stories about his offer list but never made it b/c it was always someone else's fault. Good bye and good riddance.

2015 DT per his hudl 6'1, 300 lbs, 5.04 40, 4.60 shuttle, 31" vertical, 415 LB bench, 775 LB squat. Not sure what's legal to link or not so I'll let you smart people do that. Kid is a monster!

How about a defensive highlight?? IMO never saw a 1st step that translates to D1 caliber. His pull up jumpers quick but I'm very wary of any hs recruit who's highlight tape doesn't include 1 defensive clip

Marble Falls spring football was scheduled to start today, yet it got postponed to Monday. Interesting...wonder why it got postponed? And I agree Dodge could get almost any job he wants in HS ranks. To say anything else is just plain silly.

Dodges mother in law is high up in Eanes ISD. Anyone and everyone saw this coming. Go to Marble falls for a few years then slide to Westlake when the chance arises.

I'm not to worried about UT's QB assessment seeing as how they didn't recruit Manziel or RGIII to play QB. Talent evaluation has been lacking in that department for awhile at that school.

His brother Seth has D1 potential but work ethic and attitude leave a lot to be desired. However, older brother Zach is a work horse always 1st one in last one out of gym.

Billy and Harry, I guess it wasn't much of a question just topic of discussion. The Hebron OL coach said when UNT wanted to talk to Jamal he was down to BAMA and 2 others. But really wanted UNT to look at the other two kids, and they didn't even sniff. I've heard it said in coaching circles that teams with good walk on programs typically means they miss on recruits and have to get them to walk on. While I know some of ours are transfers, Mr. Kirby shouldn't have had to walkon kid should have been scholly players that signed. Not real sure where I am going here. Also, I think HS coaches have a pretty good gauge especially at 4 and 5a levels on talent. I bet Jamal got pulled out of class so much the kid had to show up on Saturdays because he missed so much class.

Billy, I was talking with Hebron O-Line coach about UNT and recruiting. This past year they came through and wanted to talk to Jamal Adams. Now, while I appreciate their effort but the dude already had every offer known to man. The HC tried to point them to another stud OL and RB the OL is now at Purdue and RB Utep kind of made me mad that they wouldn't even look. They've got to pick and choose those battles IMO. Your thoughts?
