  1. We kept DT in there to add some more drama to his persona as played out in our new hit reality TV show, Beyond The Green! It's a simple reality show formula in action! +1 to the TV ratings win column. #untloses #whocareswehaveatvshow #right?guys? #guys?

  3. You know, to keep it respecta- Ah hell, you're right. #guzzle
  4. And yet it's widely reported that Dajon is one of the most soft-spoken players on our team. Mac really wants him to learn how to be vocal and be a field general.
  5. Speaking of donuts. http://www.hypnoticdonuts.com/#!denton/c1pix January 2014
  6. I've shook Chuck Norris' hand -- dude's not that big.
  7. Yeah... As evidenced by the few designed QB runs we pulled last week.
  8. Anyone have any notion when it might be available online for all us non-TV types?
  9. Sell out, yes. But over a quarter of their stands will be filled with various HS bands for their "Band Day"
  10. Seriously. He very badly bumbled through that.
  11. Coach Mac was late to the first Coach's Show at Rudy's cause he said he was delayed leaving the pep rally that was happening at Apogee with 4k students, cheer/Scrappy, and the band. Not sure what you're talking about.
  12. The super accurate computations at CFP have Ohio at -4.99. http://www.collegefootballpoll.com/analysis_cusa_ntex.html And to add to their eerily close predictions, they only had last Saturday's game day win prediction off by four points.
  13. Please, please somebody get Vito a better camera. The degradation of tape looks like he's running a VHS camcorder at this point.
  14. Ya'lls taste in rock/hype music is incredibly disheartening. I'd rather see Athletics (or hell, any part of this university) embrace the amazing music culture here in town and use tracks from the likes of: RTB2 The Angelus newer Midlake etc. These aren't wholly applicable to football intros, but its still something the university and Athletics have been neglecting for far too long.
  15. Their shot editing is getting better, but that's about it. "But Chris, you're being so negative!" Yes, but it's only 'cause the world of proper hype/advance/highlight videos are a decade ahead of where NTVideo is. Reasoning: Intro/Outro graphics: Shoddy, poor 3D maneuvering, horrible -and I mean despicable- typeface choices. Letterboxing: "Oh hey! We know what aspect ratio they use in feature films!" Great. But don't use it here. Why? Because all the shots you're putting into this letterboxed format were framed in 16:9. Slapping the black bars on top of that framing makes it look like you don't know how to establish a shot correctly, the principle "rules of thirds" are thrown out the window, and it simply looks busch league. Sun Belt footage: You do yourself no favors when establishing the shot of the C-USA logo to then cut to a variety of highlights from last year, degrading the establishment of our new found conference. Idaho footage: There was more than enough highlights from Saturday to use for this. the only thing I can figure here is that someone didn't want the throwbacks unis as the setting visual for a video that will likely see many potential recruits' eyes. Nevertheless, using the Idaho footage juxtaposed with the contextually relevant Joe Greene voiceover would have made more sense. Still using poorly lit footage or footage at too slow a frame rate for slow-mo: Does nobody in this dept. know about gain, aperture, gamma, frame rates, shutter speeds, and recording formats?? The only positives I can take from this is their use and editing of audio is getting better and the storytelling is lightyears ahead from the appropriation of movie trailer voiceovers. The Joe Greene storyboarding is a blessing here. For an example of this sort of thing done rather well by non-paid amateurs, I point you to the following: ----- Finally, cameras with fixed lenses are for archiving, "coach's footage" type stuff: HDSLRs, interchangeable lens camcorders and the like where you can really play with depth of field and proper lighting techniques are better tools for the type of productions NT Football has been after as of late:
