  1. Saw Lance on TV a second ago. Hope to see him in the second half. On a side-note, Cowboys look great tonight.
  2. Agreed. If we beat W. Kentucky and both go 6-6 though, we have the tie-breaker there for a third SBC bowl game.
  3. Turned the game off after three pitiful quarters. Could not sit through the last leg in that massacre.
  4. I am a little amused every time I see this (have class in the Lang building there), but not really against it. Nowhere is it said that only intelligent protesters are allowed in the US. If they want to protest, more power to them. They bug me less than the fire-and-brimstone preacher does.
  5. You, my friend, may suck. UNT, on the other hand, is showing major improvements over last year. We've made Apogee into a home-field, we've gained support from the student body, and there's a sense of excitement going into gamedays. UNT has a long way to go still, but is well on its way.
  6. Touche, I had forgotten about that hold. Fair enough.
  7. With one second on clock, side official called TO for USC, but Referee said clock expired. So now it's overtime. I could've sworn the reverse is how UT beat Nebraska two years ago. Feel bad for USC, should have had the field goal shot.
  8. Much appreciated. Hell of a QB you guys have over there.
  9. Btw- the second half wasn't as bad. Outscored them 14-6 in the second half and Lance came away with almost 100 yards tonight. Slow starts happen, the second half put some ease in my mind going into a bye week.
  10. North Texas is a quality team. Coming off a combined record of only 6-30 in the past three years, UNT already has three wins this season with two more easily in sight. HMG needs to take a chill pill. UNT had a bad game tonight, yes. But expect a different story at Troy in two weeks. Go Coug yourself Houston.
  11. I'm looking at the rest of the schedule and thinking of what our final is gonna be this year. I'm thinking either 5-7 or 6-6. I think for sure we win Troy and Mid Tenn. I think Western Kentucky is a swing and sadly don't see us pulling off a win over Arkansas State. Ark. State is 3-0 at home and have only lost two contests to Illinois and Virginia Tech, so I dunno if we pull this off there. Your thoughts?
  12. I love it. This is a great render, and a good story too. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed version.
  13. Although I understand where you're coming from, you've also got to understand these fans' POV. The entire time I've been a student at UNT, we haven't won a homecoming game. And this is also the best home record we've had in a good, long while. So... if the fans want to rush the field and celebrate with Mac and the players, what's the problem?
  14. Say what you will, but they are a 5-1 school this year.
  15. Duh, I feel dumb now. Totally forgot about JH. My bad.
  16. Touche. I guess LeBreton's source must've been off. Well anyways, TCU's officially gone from the BE, so I guess anything and everything is possible.
  17. http://www.star-telegram.com/2011/10/06/3426155/tcu-better-off-sticking-with-big.html "Multiple sources indicated that the Big East was informed Thursday by the Air Force Academy that it no longer wished to be considered as a league expansion candidate. The conference still holds hopes of adding Navy, but those plans likely were damaged by the Air Force's decision" Read more: http://www.star-telegram.com/2011/10/06/3426155/tcu-better-off-sticking-with-big.html#ixzz1aOwmbkd4 This is what I'd read the other day. ESPN reported it on their nighttime news too. This may have changed since though.
  18. Wildcat can work and I think LD would be effective at it. This said, it's a little late in my book for us to try implementing this for this season.
  19. I must've misread it then, sorry. I was reading something in the FWST about the possible Navy/AF move to the Big East and it looked like AF wanted to be "removed from consideration" or something. A Colorado-based team seemed like a stretch to the BE anyways.
  20. Good article. UNT is getting there, but it's gonna take more than a few wins in this community. The back-to-back home wins for the first time in a long time is definitely the tip of the iceberg. If we can pull 3 out of four home games, by beating ULM in a few weeks, I'd expect to see large crowds for Western Kentucky and Midd Tenn. A team that can win at home will draw in a decent-sized crowd.
  21. According to ESPN and the FWST the other day, AFA turned down the Big East.
