  1. HAHAHAHAHA.... Everything will be fine... ZZZAPP (sound of tazer). Yeah.... I got my season tickets today as well and no parking pass, so I'll be joining the line at the ticket office in the morning to try and find out why!
  2. I think most have been saying that for the last 8 years...
  3. Ken Foote, Director of Programming, KTVT/KTXA, 5233 Bridge Street, Fort Worth TX 76103, phone 817-586-7365, fax 817-451-3948, or e-mail kenf@ktvt.com.
  4. They have been useless for a while now. POOR media set up guys.... Very poor.
  5. I have complained on the TXA FB page.... Trying to find a direct email address for the management. There. The more and louder we complain, the less it'll happen again.... Well, the less likely it is to happen... Hmmm.
  6. “Winning isn't everything. It's the only thing.” -- Vince Lombardi, Famous Pro Football Coach Maybe someone should tell Coach Mac?
  7. Alright then ... lets dump the entire sorry bunch of losers. Once you have paid off all the contracts, where do we stand and what can we do? The UNT football program sucks and it has since 2005. Nice new stadium, great training facilities all mean squat if you don't have good coaching and a team that wins, otherwise we should all quit complaining about low attendance and so on.
  8. SHOULD ... but will be kept for year four.
  9. We have the facilities, stadium, what else do we need? Coaching staff that know how to win. A full recruitment class of good players? Both as likely as UNT becoming a top tier research uni above UT.
  10. So we wait ANOTHER year? Some folk will DIE before UNT has a winning season again!!
  11. Did someone suggest the QB throw the ball at some point in time? Certainly not in the 4Q. 100% coaching fail.
  12. Ok. That's fine. I didn't say ALL, I did say "many" and "some" needed to leave early. Also some of us are a little bit older and less able to sit there in the wind... Whatever. We are going to be from all over on this one, some able to stay and not worry about it (and just in their late 20's so they can handle the relatively cool and windy conditions) right through to the over 70's for whom it was a nightmare after 30 minutes. Here is something for those interested in counting crowd numbers... When we got to the gate, only one of our three season tickets was scanned OK. The lady doing the scanning said that several of the entry people were having trouble with their hand held scanners on Tuesday evening. She just waved us all in, so I also think that 17k is an underestimate.
  13. For those who wonder why so many on the season ticket side of the stadium left at half time, the couple next to me had to leave as the babysitter was only booked until 11pm. Only some of us can drink ourselves stupid tailgating and still get up at 6am for work - or live in dorms on campus so we can sleep just 10 minutes away from the game and still be up on time for the first lecture of the day (unlucky if they are 8am starts). Yeah - we are all old farts making use of our UNT degrees to have careers and keep our jobs in hard economic times to pay our bills and keep our homes. Boring? You bet. That's more like real life after you graduate. Don't bitch about it - be happy that we got a win out of the evening and that TXA21 covered The Hill activities and that ESPN were showing us in a good light nationwide. Just be thankful we are not like some schools where you have to pay hundreds of dollars to enter a lottery for tickets. At least for UNT if you pay a small amount of money, you will get into a game.
