You'll know it is when you see the security guard right in front of you, but all you can think about is going to celebrate with the team on the field

If you think that UNT is the only school that posts security around the field to prevent students from rushing it then you are crazy... You are also somebody who probably thinks that you can still tear down goal posts at stadiums nowadays

I would say beating a top 15 team (maybe even just 10) or winning the conference are the only suitable times for rushing the field now... if need to have bigger expectations for our program

rankings don't matter at all in CBB... it's all about getting hot at the right time

it's times like this that I always like to think back about Julio Jones and Marion Barber... people were always praising Barber and taking a dump on Jones... not realizing that all of those 3(sometimes 2) yard runs into the teeth of the defense were softening up the D for Barber to run over later on in the game... to me, that's the role that Byrd plays... it ain't always pretty, but it definitely gets that defense tired... and allows Jim Jim to do his thing

I agree... I think WKU is going a little under the radar right now, but they were definitely the team I thought would be the best at the start of the season... outside UNT of course...

3 of the next 5 are on the road... it'll be interesting to see what happens in the marquee matchup this saturday between ULM and Western Kentuck... but, as long as we only have one loss in conference play, we control our own destiny... do we have to win out? probably, but this team showed me a lot last night

just wanted to start a topic recognizing what an outstanding job Jeremy Phillips did last night... playing with that cast on his hand he played great getting outside and stuffing those quick screens... even when he didnt make the tackle he forced the ball carrier back into awaiting tacklers

Watched the replay of this on ESPN3... multiple times... the way the crowd goes to that next level when Jim Jim breaks away at about midfield is an amazing moment

they kept calling Jim Jim 'The Jimmy Show' on the broadcast last night... which I might like better... just because of all the double entendres

DT WAS the better QB on the field last night... how many of ULL's completions were on bubble screens? how did there QB do under pressure later in the game when his team was down? who was making bad overthrows to WR's when it counted last night? one of the biggest plays last night was DT's completion to Delgado while getting drilled to pick up a first down on 3rd and 11... give me DT every day over the QB who looks better on the stat sheet but still has a loss in the important column

well, we did have a touchdown denied from us for some unknown reason (bad spot AND no camera angle on the review) and then walked away from that with no points

best day that I've ever felt this sleepy and this hoarse!!!
