  1. I went up there Friday and bought the white polo. I didn't see the tshirts, but the polo is awesome!! I like how it says "North Texas" on the back under the collar. $17 can't beat that. I would have bought the green too, but it doesn't have the white stripes down the side. The white version has green stripes on the sides.
  2. I'm a newer member to the nation as I graduated in 2010, However, I'm 30 and have never partaken in that "new" tradition. childish!
  3. I've never heard any reference to the Eagles of North Texas. I wish we would embrace the "Eagles" a little more.
  4. You have to be kidding! It's the best value in college sports. All you can eat buffett, and it's typically awesome like Frilly's, Rudys, etc. At the $250 level you have access before women's games. At the $500 level you have access before men's games. Plus you can bring 3 or 4 friends, I went down there probably 4 times last season. I hung out with UNT90grad, Kram, and took friends everytime. It's actually $10. It's the best return on investment that the school does.
  5. 3 claws is ideal anyway. he'd be "puttin his talons up"
  6. this may be sacrelige(not sure of the feelings on the car as I'm relatively new to the nation). Couldn't the school auction off the Model A and put it towards an eagle cage/keeping grounds? the car isn't the right color green anyway???? just throwing it out there.
  7. The albino squirrel passed on to ther next plane a few years ago. It's a tough one pal. http://news.unt.edu/...squirrel-campus I guess there was a new one, but I could have sworn that one was moved on to their 3 bedroom apartment in the sky in 2010, maybe not though http://www.ntdaily.com/?p=66281
  8. Nice signature size. Thanks for the downsizing.
  9. Yeah, it certainly wasn't as hot as the GMG football game on Fouts 2 years ago. but it was warm. Unfortunately, I have a trip planned to float the river that weekend. Gotta opt out of the cookout.
  10. I think you should reconsider that drive. There is zero chance that drive will be fun.
  11. thanks for looping me in. sounds pretty funny. now i'm going to google a certain someone's old girlfriend. hahaha. just kidding.............not really.
  12. I agree completely. I'm all for going to CFA today. I'm certainly not a proponet of boycotting. Look at my posts on this topic. I'm not liberal at all on this topic.
  13. to Quoner: "This whole Quoner bit was a giant experiement because of the way a few of you drooling objectified female athletes and spoke creepily of a certain all-time great WR at the same time." I'm confused. Can you fill me in on what you are talking about here, please? For the record, my favorite relative is my Aunt that is married to a woman. I don't agree with it, but I don't exude that behavior. I don't love her less, or spend less time with her. Hate the sin, love the sinner.
  14. It's going to be a long drive from Mckinney to Denton 3 nights a week. Sign me up.
  15. let's be honest Kram, it was hot as sin out there. You and I know it. Still a can't miss, but don't lie to the folks.
  16. HUGE PROBLEM!! I have a trip to the river planned with wife and 2 other couples that weekend. Do I skip floating the Guadalupe for hot dogs and beer, or do I take in tons of beer and river time before the wife goes back to teaching? Thoughts?
  17. stormchaser is wearing me out with these long replies. Go to class young man! I used to be just like you, but then I graduated college. Then, I hit the real world. I pay taxes and health insurance for a family. I have a mortgage, and 2 car payments. I work M-F, 9-5. It's a fact, you become more conservative with age. Just ask Winston Churchill. You'll want to solve all the problems in the world today. 10 years from now you'll just want to eliminate the cause of the problem whether it be crime, high gas prices, home market crumbling, etc. Don't force your young views on everyone else. You believe what you want and let us, more experienced in life, think what we want. For goodness sakes, STOP WITH THE 3 PAGE RESPONSES. THIS IS A FORUM NOT A PERSONAL BLOG
  18. I look forward to bickering with stormchaser while drinking a beer and eating your fajitas during football season.
  19. Hey Coach Mac, don't forget to pick up that big ole check that LSU owes us, and keep our young men safe down there. I know I'm the only one, but I hate the idea of being a big school's whipping boy for a big check. I know the money we make and exposure we get is extremely beneficial. I understand all of that. (At least we will be on the big network) I know upsets happen every year, I believe in our team. However, Appalachian State was a miracle. Miracles don't happen every year. I just like seeing us win, and play within the same level of talent that we are recruiting. We will get there one day, but we aren't there yet. IMHO
  20. This hypothetical is so off my radar until he can pass a few classes. Half a season doesn't propel anyone in the draft. I personally think he needs to focus on making the Mean Green go deep in the tourney this season, and then if, and only if scouts are throwing around "lottery" he might think about leaving early.
  21. compliment, I guess. I have deep respect for Kram, ya' know.
  22. Kram, the consummate politician.
  23. Harry, I would +1 you right now, but since mods are immune to criticism or praise I will just agree with you.
