STAY WANT ONE MORE YEAR

Personally, I've been up and down about Dodge this year but I've come to the conclusion I want to see one more year. Anytime you start over in any organization, sports, business, or otherwise, there is a breaking down period. I think we started about as expected, saw a dip last year and although the wins aren't there, we've started coming out of that dip. I want to see one more year. Next season will be the 3rd year with Deloach running the D, 2nd season for Riley with an offseason to hopefully get bigger and stronger, 2nd season of our new fulltime football strength coach (I think a full offseason with him will do wonders, this is very underrated in my opinion) and I think the improvement shown and the new stadium a reality will help with recruiting. I just don't want to start all over right now. I want to see one more year. Having said all that: I believe we have KState, Rice and Clemson next year....Do we have a 4th non conference foe? Clemson and KState will be tough, Rice will be beatable....... Gimme one more year.....

I want the university to elect a Common Sense Panel.... Why doesn't the university just say, "In order to not exclude anyone, we will have one male and one female in the homecoming court." If a gay male or gay female want to run, fine, who cares or needs to know what their preference is. But we will have one male and one female. I'm pretty sure those are still the two dominant sexes in the world. If two gay males are chosen, then females are excluded and vice versa, right? Does the homecoming court have to be a couple? I believe one article I read gave the example of SMU. Their court doesn't have to be a couple. It's a man and a woman with no mention of their orientation. Who cares? Just do away with the "couple" requirement. Then a gay dude and a gay girl can run. What am I missing?

It comes on at 6:00 or 6:30 on ch. 21 every saturday morning. They show highlights of the previous weeks game (audio by George and Hank) and interview Todd Dodge and highlight other MG sports doings.... I don't get up that early but I've got the DVR set and watch it later in the morning. It's kind of cool.....

so how do you become Offensive coordinator, fill out an application or what?

I expected the best player in the conference the last 2-3 weeks to touch the ball more than 8 times in the first half.... I can understand a new staff coming in and flushing out some of the trouble and instilling a new culture but the game day coaching has finally outweighed that for me..... .....I'm a fan, what can I say...I've been rooting for this staff to turn it around but I'm finally convinced they don't have the ability to...

and I'm hoping a whole year with the strength coach will do some good as well. We get carried and knocked back a lot....

I've tried. But I can't anymore. We need a real college coach. We have a few individuals with talent. Dunbar, Jackson, etc. but this team is lost. We need a college coach with skins. I think we can get one with the stadium coming on line. Put me in the group for a change. I'm convinced. If I'm RV, I'm looking at recruiting a juco QB and getting a real college coach in here next year. We may actually have a chance to have a decent 2011 season in the new stadium.

I guess Dunbar is hurt......the offensive coordinator won't give him the ball.... whoever our offensive coordinator is....
