I've gone back and forth on this. On the one hand, Roy Williams has none NOTHING since coming here and has been more negative than positive. I would have preferred he come into camp with his head down ready to work and live up to his hype instead of taking up the cause of putting a rookie in his place. So Dez is probably thinking, "who the hell does he think he is? I'm trying to take his job!" On the other hand, Dez needs to realize his place as a rookie and not put himself above the rest of the team. He's a rookie, Heisman trophy winners even get treated like a rookie. What you did (or didn't do) in college doesn't matter....especially to vets. I just wish it would have been Brady James, or Whitten or Leonard Davis that would have told him to carry their pads. I wonder what Dez would have said then. The bottom line is he's a rookie and if he wants to alienate the whole team, keep acting like that. It's not a big deal but veterans don't like to be shown up.....especially by a rookie. That's where we need a Darren Woodson. As soon as they started contact, he would have taken care of Dez's attitude the first time he ran across the middle....

But like I tell my wife, "Why would you want to do anything other than go to a Mean Green game?" I'm thinking about this for my wife: "You want us to spend more time together right? Well, on Saturdays I'll be in the club section at the new mean green stadium. Logically, if you want us to spend more time together, shouldn't you be in the club section as well?" Will I get punched in the head?

I guess it is. That's not the answer they gave me when I was there. They specifically told me they couldn't sell it but were working on it. But none the less, I'm glad they're getting some in. I think they'll be pleased with the demand.

I was in there last year. It's the whole licensing thing again. Not rally house's fault. Talk to UNT. And by the way, it's definitely not from a lack of demand. I asked the question and the person told me they get asked "all the time" about UNT gear. "we wish we COULD sell it..."

I finished in 3rd place and out of the money in our office pool. I was one point out of 2nd. Had I not picked UNT over KState, I would have won some money. But when they go to the tourney, I just can't pick against them... I'll do it again next year!

How does it work if you buy them from the athletic dept? Do you get passes for all the games? Are the seats good? If we won the first game then what? ETC.

I have to second that. I went to the National championship game with some friends (UT fans) and we were smack in the middle of the Alabama section. They were some of the most humble, nicest fans I've ever been around.

Texas Rangers baseball starting out in Arizona. Starting to feel like Spring! I'm expecting big things this year out in Arlington.
