I just have to believe that 1 or 2 teams are going to reduce mistakes, not get a FG block returned for at TD, etc. vs those guys. Surely their "luck" has to run out eventually. For cryin' out loud, they got beat by South Alabama and drilled by Syracuse.

I really love the shots around the AC, stadium, etc. It really showcases our beautiful facilities. This absolutely can be a good recruiting tool.

I just can't tell you how happy I am to have a real defense again.... Makes all the difference in the world...

I wanna see that freshman QB on the sideline curled up in the fetal position by the 3rd qtr...

I really LOVE this show. I look forward to it every week. The last 10 minutes of the previous episode featuring the D was awesome. A couple of things that have really stuck out with me so far. I really like Skladany. The way he talks to his players and interacts during the game....I love to watch him talk strategy with the players and he seems to have a calm aggression. Love it. Also, someone that is becoming one of my favorite players is Mason Y'Barbo. It's obvious he loves UNT, loves his teammates and seems to be a great leader. Excited to have him back next year. And obvously Zack Orr and Marcus Trice have been really great to watch as well. Besides the good season we're having on the field, this show really highlights the quality young men we have on the team. Very proud. We are lucky to have this show...

Good point....however one thing this team has going for it is there is nothing sexy about this team....

If I may weigh in..... My wife spent a year at U of H. And like I'm sure many on here can relate, loves the amount of time I spend on here. Me: "Babe, settle an argument" Wife: "Sure" Me: "it's on the Board" Wife: "geez" Me: "how would you describe the neighborhood surrounding U of H?" Wife: "ghetto" Me: "how would you describe the neighborhood surrounding Rice?" Wife: "really nice" She then added......"if we ever had to move to Houston, that's where I would want to live"

Isn't it logical to assume if we go bowling with what is being built, the budget increase, the increased profile from an improved program, Beyond the Green, increased TV coverage, better product on the field, etc that we could get a BETTER recruit than him In the next few months? We lost him to TCU, yeah that sucks. But there are better players than this kid that are recruited by Tulane, Tulsa, La Tech, Rice, UTEP, UTSA, etc. Given our season and the potential for what it could become, I would anticipate some will start to turn their head toward Denton, TX.

It is a short week. Which is why it could be beneficial to have our starters on the bench the last qtr and a half. Pound them early and don't let off the throttle. Come out aggressively.

I heard a ridiculous stat. If Baylor stopped every game this year at halftime, they would still have a top 15 offense. Yikes.

The So. miss game makes me nervous. They are 0-fer coming off a blowout, have nothing to lose and will probably take a lot of chances next week. We're high off an elusive road win, still on the road next week, have a short week before what could the most important game of the year. Will the coaching staff be extra conservative in this game due to the short week and inferior opponent? That combined with So. miss throwing everything but the kitchen sink at us is a dangerous combination. I hope the staff keeps them extra focused.
