Everybody needs to relax. It's just a marketing campaign to get more students involved and more exposure. I'm certain that North Texas truly wants what's best for Tony whether that means staying longer at UNT or going pro.

A friend of mine just passed along the link below to a student-built UNT iPhone app. Apparently a student built the app for an engineering class. It includes an academic calendar, dining information, campus map, info on all sports teams, etc. Really cool stuff and thought everybody, especially students, with an iPhone might want to check it out. iPhone App Update: It is also available for Android Android App

Just spent a little time catching up on the new Mean Green Insider (1/12/12) and also watched the post-game comments from Mitchell and Franklin, and I can't help but smile and be proud of this team. Their maturity, humbleness and positivity is something that you don't see a lot from younger athletes, much less the pros. It makes their success that much sweeter knowing that they are genuinely good people. I hope this team sticks together and makes history for our Mean Green.
