    Back on topic, this signing could be along the lines of the Jordan Williams basketball signing as cdizzle86 commented. Either way, I love the aggessiveness displayed in this young man's video and am pleased to have him on board. If he can persuade Heard and Jefferson to follow suit, then that would be icing on the cake!

    A 45lb. metal weight and a 45lb. rubber weight are typically the same size. Trust me, I run a health and wellness center and order these all the time. Now there are "training weights" that will be the same diameter but not the same thickness so they weigh less, but this is done to allow power lifts to be completed more easily.

    One of our best receivers during the 80's, Marcus Camper, was a high school QB, as was Brad Kassel.

    I am well aware of Young's background having lived in Houston, Young's hometown, during his UT years and early years in the NFL. As emmitt stated, that is an excuse claiming his father wasn't involved. Griffin was far more of a passer than a runner at Baylor, and, TFLF, claiming they squeaked by a few teams is ridiculous considering their weak defense was ghe cause of this and not Griffin's play. If it weren't for Griffin, Baylor would have finished below. 500. Compare Griffin's and Young's collegiate stats dor a more accurate comparison. By the way, compare their GPA's while you sre at it. I don't mean this as a shot at Young, who was a great college QB, but he and Griffin are as different as night and day.

    I think the funny thing is that you have already dismissed Griffin before he has even taken a snap. This young man is a far better quarterback and person than Young.
