I disagree with you Harry in that I hope SMU has zero success after our game with them. I openly cheer against SMU and TCU as much as I'm allowed.

I think we see many field goals next season...after the first 2.5 minutes of the game, our entire offense scheme will be figured out that we dump short passes and run up the middle. So, maybe we can get inside the 30 enough times and make a crap load of field goals.

To sell out, we have to become a winning program for several years consistantly. Until then, we have to have paycheck games

I think we would be successful in baseball very quickly. There are a ton of really good players in the North Texas area. There is only 1 (UTA) four year public school in the area that offers baseball. To my knowledge, baseball scholarships are partial so the player would have to fund some of their schooling. Please correct me if I'm wrong here. If the player does have to pay some of their own way, I'd bet they choose NT over UTA and the private schools that offer baseball. Plus, there are a lot of good JC programs out there that we could pull from to field a team with experience.

I don't know if short passes or deep routes really matter....UNT quarterbacks tend to stare down a receiver and basically scream "Hey Defense, I'm throwing to this guy over here!!"

I'm not a Greek alum but if there was ever a night to have a special Greek promotion, this is it....much like the basketball game this year. The student section was huge that night
