    Greg Abbott opposes cities' rights to a vote to ban franking within their city limits, and he supports slashing funds to higher education. Why would we want him at our commencement?

    Did you watch McNulty last night? He's no Kenny Washington or Mitch Maher, but he completed most of his passes, one for our third TD, and he looked better than DW had.

    Speaking of eyesores, is the city of Denton ever going to fix the streets on campus?

    It is difficult for alumni to attend Thursday night games. The vast majority do not live in Denton, and they have to go to work early the next day. Also, it is getting harder and harder to drive up from both Dallas and FW because of traffic and construction.

    SilverEagle... That is the North Texas band of my youth, too, but I prefer the 400 members that were on the field last Fall. It was a richer, fuller sound, and Mr. McAdow preferred Sousa marches, and I don't. The Green Brigade sounded better last season than I've ever heard them.

    Changing the subject slightly. I've not kept up and was looking over the brackets this morning. Tulsa is the only CUSA team at the NCAA?
