  1. Do we know who Jalen Bates is?
  2. I don’t think we have a true rival. In the traditional sense we lack 1. Consistently playing the same opponents. Since 1995 we have been in three conferences. 2. Being consistently competitive since we have only had about 6 winning seasons in 20 years. If we played MUTS yearly you might be able to make a case for them. Over time it could be UTSA 🤢 but only if the series stays competitive. LaTech would be a great rival but not there yet.
  3. Assume it would not be both of them for three downs and mostly situational. Also seems to depend on the matchup. UTEP two deep was way different probably based on their running game:
  4. Exactly. I am 100% against any of our six home games away from Apogee. Now if we could have six home games at Apogee and one other in Dallas I would listen.
  5. TCU turned a lot of RBs and QBs into some pretty good defensive players.
  6. Embassy regulations require us to stay away from infectious situations. I can’t go to an indoor restaurant, hotel, large meeting, or any other risky proposition so I have been well protected. Thank you for asking btw. The political situation is fluid and no one can predict what will happen. It could become less democratic but we hope not.
  7. True. Part of my assumption was the wording of his tweet and party his lack of FBS offers this late in the season.
  8. I think Darden and Novil have a legitimate shot at it. Novil will need a really good pro day.
  9. Seems like a PWO? But at least the FCS teams that offered know talent. https://247sports.com/Player/Cade-Stephenson-46110042/
  10. Did you post that to remind us of another team we used to beat that has far surpassed us? 😢
  11. Although I don’t think Kram has the most pure intentions here I do think it is a fair question for him to ask at the next coach’s show. I encourage him to ask SL his thoughts if the roles were reversed how he would react.
  12. Totally agree the PRC numbers are too low which is why we value a free and independent media so much in this country. Lies and cover-ups eventually get exposed. On the other hand, they did also take it seriously once they moved past politics and trying to make themselves look better. They shut pretty much everything down. They let people die in their apartments from heart attacks to keep the hospitals dedicated to Covid. They locked down cities the size of NYC - and they’ve done it repeatedly even with minor clusters. They test millions at the first sign of trouble now. Let me be clear that I don’t admire anything about the PRC or that I think free nations can replicate those actions. But just explaining how they reacted once they took it seriously. So very likely you can multiply those PRC number by 5 or 20 times but it still would not even come close to other countries, especially ours. 😕
  13. Hey thanks for ruining this thread! In case you are interested, the guy who took control is also now acting president and controls the parliament. Alleged ties to organized crime appear in the media daily. And the second wave of Covid hit as well, so things are great. Thanks for bringing in your ridiculous bullshit @KRAM1. God forbid we have a civil discussion about another part of the world or the life of a board member who literally risks his and his family‘s life and health to serve his country overseas. No one made this about US politics at all and it was completely civil. And @SteaminWillieBeamindo you not know how to ignore a troll? Not everything merits a response.
  14. Absolutely the right call. It would be completely irresponsible to go to a city with a 200% increase in hospitalizations and at full hospital capacity. And it was certainly a good offer from UNT to try to keep the game.
