We did try the green smoke thing. The agent that caused the smoke to be green had too slow of a burn rate. This caused all of the green smoke to be dumped in a pile on the ground in front of the cannon. The black powder used in the cannon burns VERY quickly. It was a decision: Loud BOOM and no green smoke, or no BOOM and lots of green smoke. We took the traditional approch of having a big BOOM when the cannon fired. The green smoke can be burned in tin pie pans on the ground seperate from the cannon. I think it would look very cool to have a green cloud of smoke after every touchdown, even if it doesn't come from the cannon.

I like Fouts. I know it's not the best place to play a or watch a football game, but if you think about it, It's been a tradition since 1952. I can't do this..... I tried to pretend like I like Fouts, but i just can't. I can't wait to see Fouts as a pile of busted concrete and steel.
