  1. 21 points on turnovers all inside our 20? Pretty hard to compete in a game when you do that.
  2. Problem I have with the NOLA Bowl is timing. Graduation and Christmas. I’m tied up with family and won’t get to go! I think a lot of folks will be in same boat. Otherwise, I’d be there!
  3. This. Defense seemed about on par with the year against this caliber of team. Offense left them on the field a lot and it could have been much worse. Offense was kept in check and they’re supposed to be our strength.
  4. TCU just got dispatched by OU with same score. Thy seem pretty relevant.
  5. They came out in the second half throwing deep. They obviously knew that was our weakness and it worked. It is the only plays that kept them alive. It's the only plays they were successful. It seemed our D stopped just about everything ran short. We seemed to get good pressure, but if the play extended too long with their QB running about, someone deep burned us and big. And almost all their throws were to that Lisa guy. Every single third and long, I thought to myself they're going deep. Yep. Every.Single.Time.
  6. @UNTLifer and thank you and everyone else on this board for thinking about us. It is appreciated.
  7. Yes sir. I just saw this, been a little busy! My family was lucky. We didn't flood. But many of my first responder family did while out working. I was on a rescue boat about 5 days straight. Felt like I was in the movie Forest Gump when he is talking about all the different kinds of rain. What an experience. Very reminiscent of my Katrina deployment.
  8. They're gonna give this game back to them. They have like half the yards and just one score down. Got to quit giving up the big plays.
  9. Why is it I am never very confident for second halves? I hope we start changing that.
  10. I had to edit to add the image. The post didn't make sense without it. Lol. He did earn it.
  11. How I saw it .... He was just asking and the Marshal guy retaliated! Lol
  12. So basically justifying the changes in AD, etc. Proactive report from the university to see where we are lacking and how to move forward, some of which seems to have already been placed into motion. Could have just asked this board. :) But you wouldn't think that from the headline. Could have easily read, "UNT addressing areas of need and moving forward to be competitive"
  13. You apparently don't want to hear shit! Lol
  14. Hell yeah! This was an emotional roller coaster game for me. Kudos to the team for pinning their ears back and fighting for the win. Horrible start, but good finish.
  15. I've had time to think about Mason and his performance and I have to say that I think he made a lot of mature decisions. The pockets were collapsing quick. I can't say I've seen that many collapse like that so often in a game. They were rushing two every time it seemed. We couldn't even get the running game going through that line. I agree with those calling for slants. The way they were rushing us, that seems the perfect play to counter it. With all that, he could have tried to run outside and get squirley. I think that would have resulted in bigger losses and turn overs. He kept his cool and kept the loss of yards manageable. He only threw one INT and it was the one time that his inexperience and youth showed. It's not that he chose to not throw the ball in many cases because we know he didn't have time. When he did have time he made great plays. There were some very well thrown deep routes. I'm starting to think he's the best option and really excited about it. I haven't been excited about QB in so long it sure does feel good. I think he's going to find his rhythm and we will be in for a show. Our WRs made some good plays. If our O line can gel and get better, coupled with this defense, I have faith this could be a promising year for the team.
