Honestly I sort of think you can throw out that ranking. It was the 2nd week of the season, so it was a ranking based on potential - not accomplishment. Missouri finished that season under .500 and without a Bowl. Hardly a true Top 25 team.

Well...OSU isn't ranked. Honestly, I don't think it'll be a stunner if we beat the Cowboys THIS year. This isn't a typical OSU squad. That said it would be a HUGE win for the program. A landmark win even. I just wouldn't consider it a "major upset".

I have to say I agree. He's one of the best there is IMHO.

Yes, there were the 2 shockers in the Big 10, but those were exhibition games. This was for real - and Gardner-Webb basically beat the Wildcats in every facet of the game. Rupp was almost empty by the end.

UALR upsets MTSU in a shootout. So far we're the only team that has won in regulation.

It killed me last year to miss all the hoopla with the Tournament appearance. I couldn't miss our 1st banner in 20 years! With the Oklahoma State game so soon afterwards I knew I had to stay for it too(hence why I leave Thursday). The Navy game was honestly icing on the cake.

I'm sure many of you know already, but i will be flying in from the City of Angels on Friday thru next Thursday. Since moving here late 2001, I've mostly been an internet fan. Despite rolling thru the DFW area on acouple of occassions since - this will be my first time watching the Football team since Homecming of 2002 and my first NT basketball games since Trilli's last season. I'm looking forward to meeting lots of you from the board, and reconnecting with those I know already. I'll be with Emmitt on Saturday if you want to say hello. Oh, and thanks goes out to stebo for the Navy tickets and SUMG for offering to entertain me for a day or two while I'm in town.

Yes, but A&M isn't even my 2nd or 3rd school - those that know me know it's Auburn for football. I do prefer the Aggies to Texas though.

Because their traditions are kinda cool and unique? Hell at least they have traditions.

It's depressing when even our soccer team - arguably the crown jewel of MG Sports - is struggling.
