That's the issue; not student-athletes' life lessons learned from a 5 game schedule even though someone promised we'd have 6. This is the University of North Texas, not the School of Hard Knocks. The education we, as boosters, are supporting is in the classroom. If someone is dumb enough to believe the above and use it as justification for withholding support from their university's booster club (which, admittedly, I doubt you would), then that is awfully inept.

If he averages 82pts/season, then yeah, he's going to smash Dunbar's record.

I was really worried Lemon would fall off. Wonder if he got on just because of reputation. Akunne was a no-brainer. Great career here. Glad Jones got a 2nd team nod. Harris is obviously much better than HM. Poor QB play did him in.

Moore needs some serious consideration as the C-USA 1st team Kicker, not just the Freshman team. His 88.2% FG% (by far) and his 100%PAT% (tied w/several) are both tops in the conference. Acosta from USM will probably get it though. If Ianno gets it, it's because he was kicking for an awful red zone offense who set him up for 10 <30yd attempts. We're very lucky to have landed this guy. So glad he's going to be here for 3 more years.

Out of all the schools in 3-6A, you don't expect anyone to come out of SA Central. Upon further review, they swept the district, Wow! Then got mowed by Southlake Carroll.

When we're winning, we can rope in Tee Gorees, Jeffrey Wilsons & Sam Millers (committed before 2014 season started). When we're losing, we're competing with SLC schools & losing commits to SMU. Just win baby.

The obsession with UL-L is MG fans' familiarity and myopathy. Plus, a killer tailgating scene which should definitely be in the top-5 (if not the #1) considerations for adding a school to the conference. Oh, Softball & baseball have legit national presence.
