  1. **** i missed post game. Well...****
  2. I saw someone else reference a shoulder. Did he? I'd like more info if this is the case. I didn't see it if he did.
  3. Just one question Mean Green Faithful, why? Why even give him a shot if there weren't doubts? Especially early on before we knew we had the game in hand? Discuss this event freely here. Personally? I think SL is trying to find a way to see what he's got that could maybe complete more than 50% of his passes.
  4. I think WB should find his balls in his wife's purse if he can't fire a coach that hasn't gotten a single bowl win.
  5. I could see both answers, but I don't think we're destined to be bottom dwellers with the move. Especially with better coaching.
  6. The haters on this board have turned me into an optimist. I hate all of you for that. The Memphis game told me we can be completive. Edit: Completive is a real word.
  7. UNLV currently down 14 to 0 to *checks notes* New Mexico. JFC. Edit: the fact this team put 50 something up on us is disgusting. I give the Lobos credit though, they came in with a plan.
  8. Takeaway for our defense, Frank Harris threw 3 INTs tonight, all because of pressure. If we want to win this game, we have got to generate pressure on Harris while also having a spy. It will be tough sledding for our defense.
  9. That's game most likely. MUTS still have 3 timeouts so if they can get a 3 and out, maybe. But they need a TD and a 2 point to tie.
  10. Cunningham is one tough SOB. Dude has taken hit after hit tonight.
  11. MUTS may actually do it. I'm pretty impressed with their fight.
  12. Damn, MUTS defense doing work. Hope they can knock off UT Sucks Ass.
  13. MUTS putting up a fight even though they are down. From what I'm seeing, if we want a shot at UTSA we have to Harris, and getting to the QB hasn't exactly been our strength so far this season.
  14. Oops, my bad. We're 1-0. Even more reason for optimism...some sarcasm there
  15. Well we're 1-1 in conference play so we're not out of that race yet. Though I have been watching the replay (couldn't watch live). Aune only had 2 INTs but he should have had more and I'm only in the 1st quarter.
  16. Shouldn't we all be? I'm not saying it will happen, but we started the first half of last season 1-5. If we manage to get to 3-3 next weekend, we're in a better place than we were last year. My main point is I see no evidence that any other QB on our team is going to do better or spark the team to play better.
  17. Leave Aune in. We're 2-3, we can salvage this season still. Throwing in the towel this early to get guys in game reps seems a bit too pessimistic, even for this board. It's obvious Gunnell isn't ready and I have no faith in Ruder after the abysmal start last season. A QB carousel would just throw the offense off at this point. And none of our major QB issues will get fixed until we get a QB coach in the mix. If we want to win now, we ride with Aune, for better or worse. I'm trying to find the replay of the game on ESPN plus, but, except for the pick 6 I saw on the highlights, I'm not seeing him as the SOLE reason we are losing or not executing on offense. This offense is just dysfunctional. Adding different QBs into the mix won't magically fix that. If anything it'll make it worse.
  18. For those wanting to know, Seth mentioned that we didn't offer him until late in the process.
  19. I watched most of the game. The defense definitely isn't the best, but Arkansas State is a much better team then we are offensively. The only thing I saw was that they did have some trouble defending the run. Our only hope IMO is running the rock. Seth Henigan is legit though, and we're going to get to know him well as a future conference mate, because he's only a Sophomore.
