  1. Watching this....I think we can run all over both teams' defenses.
  2. This Reed guy (WKU QB) has a helluva arm. Not always the most accurate but he can sling that thing.
  3. I give him credit for the line and the running play (along with Cobbs on running). That hasn't been the issue I have. Play calling for the first part of this season and all last season was garbage. It's gotten better in the past few weeks. The second issue I have, which may not be a Bloesch call is the lack of a QB coach and hiring another Oline coach. Hell, we even have a TE coach but we don't have a QB coach and no Shanbour does not count. This offense was supposed to thrive on tee it high and let it fly but the only success we've had is on the ground in the past few years for the most part. Better off switching to a pro style offense at this point with the oline strength and RB depth.
  4. And I can't believe you're trusting our coaching staff's QB judgment considering they clearly can't evaluate or develop QB talent. Harrell must have seen something to bring him here.
  5. Never said he played a perfect game. Far from it. If I'm not mistaken, the primary reason he went to ENMU was proximity to his wife's job. Tell that to Bailey Zappe.
  6. One bad game against a team with better talent. There is NO reason we shouldn't have put him on the field with our QB issues in 2020 and 2021.
  7. If you remember the 2018 season bowl game against Utah State, junior QB Mason Fine went down in that game. If I remember correctly, we tried with both Shanbour and Bean as backups in the first half. Enter freshman QB Kason Martin in the second half and see the results on the stat sheet, not great, but for a freshman thrown into the fire, not terrible either. Mason goes on to play his 2019 season. Then we had Aune and Bean battle it out in 2020 to terrible results, with no chance given to Martin. Last year, we had Aune and Ruder battle it out, again, with no chance given to Martin. I don't know what happened or how we didn't even give him a shot in the 20 and 21 QB battle ****shows, but the fact they didn't even put him in a game after showing competence on field vs Utah State is very confusing to me.
  8. Fvck off hater. I thought we'd get reemed by UTSA two weeks ago, but now, not so sure. Offense looks like they have found some rhythm. Going to be a tough game, but if Ridge can get a pick or two, we'll be in it.
  9. Nope. No extension. I only support, potentially, finishing his contract so we don't have to pay out the ass for firing him early.
  10. These are the very specific reasons why we should not extend him even if we keep him next year.
  11. We are not finishing 10-3. If we do I will...I dunno, do something crazy. Suggestions welcome for me to eat crow. No I will not literally eat a crow.
  12. Under some extremely limited circumstances would I support this. Not even a conference championship would get me over the hump I don't think. Too much inconsistency over the past 7(?) years.
  13. There are two coaches I want retained if we get rid of Seth. First is Cobbs, second is Phil. I don't know what his ambitions are, but I would love to give Cobbs a shot at OC or HC one day.
  14. I make grammatical errors intentionally for peoples' entertainment.
  15. I am also aware of said list and have participated in discussions. Part of my point is the economic factors of it. We still have to pay SL next year if we boot him. That said, there is one exception. If Harrell is available, let's get him.
  16. Absolutely not. No extension.
  17. I would rather die then have Tom Herman as our coach.
  18. Here's how I see it playing out. We go 6-6 or better and we don't pay another coach a huge salary and SL gets crushed first year in the American and then we get a new coach 2024. There is a part of me that wants to rip the bandaid off. Would also love to be proven wrong.
  19. If Seth beats UTSA again, let's keep him. If you disagree, please name realistic alternatives. Yes, I know I said two weeks ago I don't want him back no matter what.
