actually... Louisville is a tier 1 research university... just saying. we have a top notch medical school and a top 100 law school. school of engineering is in the top 50 i believe and business/entrepreneurship is pretty good as well. Louisville, top to bottom, is easily a better school than you are giving them credit for. the ACC does have some of the better schools in the country though so I understand how that misconception is propagated comparatively.

Am I the only one who has noticed how much more wide open the offensive play calling has been this game? i am wondering if this is the new face of the offense going forward or is it just a "let's see what we've got now" type of deal. I think the latter, but that makes me sad.

did anyone see the tweet from Derek Thompson about the qb situation. he said something along the line of: "the back up qb is always the most popular." I think the years of abuse he took form this board while he was the best qb we had has got him SOOOOO SALTY about the incumbent getting replaced. I recall him saying things to mini mac about how this was going to be his team. iDK why but that tweet really ticked me off. greer has been worse than bad. and so has mini mac. i had never seen or heard of a negative passer rating before the texas game and you wanna try to make an excuse for that crap??? that's mediocre thinking and he should know that when it is that bad, and DT was never even close to THAT bad, you have to do something different. We all know that Dajon was more talented than DT last year, but DT was the better quarterback so DT played. maybe there was animosity there cause he got pushed so hard by a freshman last year, but no need to throw shade when it becomes clear that Dajon is the best option right now DT; you already graduated.

I was gonna go to this game but i'll be in Kansas city instead. I think we can stay on the field with them just fine but our dbs need to step it way up and, obviously, we need a passing attack that is even remotely approaching respectable. I actually had this game circled as a probable win going into the season because i just dont think indiana is ready to be a good complete team. but, now it's clearly a wash at best. I believe in Dajon mostly because i see no way he can possibly do as poorly as the other guys seeing as he can actually run a little bit. I think Dajon could be the catalyst this team needs moving forward. not calling him a world beater, just better than terrible. if he plays like he did, we can beat IU in Bloomington.

I think we are blowing our chance to become a real program this season if we dont try to do everything in our power to right the ship. it seems to be a character thing with mac in that he stays zoomed too far into the nintricasies of how he wants things done. when you boil it down, the qbs job is to get the ball to the play makers on O. Dajon may not do it exactly the way it was drawn up on the white board but he gets the ball there somehow. the truth is, nothing happens exactly how you intend it too, but you have to go out there and do something positive anyway. mac and canales' approach (grouping them because who knows which is actually calling the shots) seems to be: do it exactly like this even if it doesn't work. If you don't, then i dont trust you to play... which is BS!

do we not know that he missed practice because he is soon to be a father??? there are some other things he has to do now. that situation may actually help mature him even faster.

there seems to be some discrepancy about the kids height. I have seen 5' 8" and 5'10". anyone know which is the truth? no real reason for this besides the fact that i just want to know.
