I transferred from ACU (where i played football) to THE University of North Texas in 07'. i have great pride from graduating from UNT. It is hard to become a great university that is know for football in the state of Texas. We have came from the depths, to arrive at C-USA. I support the fire Rv movement. RV is part of the old faction of which i call the depths. we do have a problem, but it is not the University, its the people behind the university. we need to step up and bring the cash, look at tcu and baylor they where just waiting form something good to happen and they jumped on it. we have to have many winning seasons before the coach we are taking about will come here. maybe its just luck getting the right leader. The bottom line is that we can raise money for a banner, but can we have the pride and raise money for a new AD and head Coach.

I haven't seen any players active on twitter this week. May be they will be focus on the game.

wager.....whoever picks the wrong results will have to show up to every remaning home games and wear a shirt saying "I Love Coach Mac"

exactly what i was thinking. all Iowa did was slant the D-line away from the RB. if we did have a true running threat a QB it would keep the d-line honest and give the running game a chance. i fear that the O-line is bad. the Qbs feel like they have to get the ball out on the first read. the defense is young there is some light there.

If we win one game this year I will be surprised.

Not a bad kid. size is good. but talk about small town USA game play. most of his blocks highlighted he was pushing guys to the ground that where take an inside angel. his pass blocking and foot work are good for that size. a little coaching will go a long way.

he looks good. great down field vision. look like he can get to under thrown balls really well so thats a plus.

Yes ben, this is a very talented group. i believe these WR's will make any QB we have look better. we just have to be careful of confusing that with being good at Qb

I really don't know what y'all expect form the coaches. i think a lot of y'all do not remember that we are a below average mid-major school. we have some good runs in the 2000's and one good season lately. so far since Mac has been here we have steadily have been getting better recruits. it will take time to build a program here. you just have wait and support the team no matter what happens.

after watching his highlight tape, seem to me the JC league he is in is really bad. i saw one good off the line move during the long beach video. all the other times he was covered by an outside linebacker that was blitzing or a sweep.(which we do a lot). from the tweet he has a pie in the sky outlook looking for a bigger school.

I'm just happy to be on tv. For sure they will be on tv for the Iowa and Tennessee games.

Wow. Thought he would fight his way back. Two things here: he didn't have the mental attitude to fight the up hill battle the coaches put him in or he had an argument with the coaches and they did dismiss him.

After five games my bowl win high is gone. a little upset on the talent evaluation at the QB position. The last five game has shown us the Good, Bad and Ugly. now i feel like we have a pretty good idea of what this football team can do. the defense has a learning curve on that note so does the offense. we are doing great for how young most of our guys are. we are in the same place as last season. This up coming game is big do to the fact its on the road and will give us a 1-1 record in C-USA right in the middle of the hunt. i will be happy getting to six wins but that will not get us into a bowl game with C-USA looking good this year. we will a least need 7 or 8 wins. How has your expectations changed this year? .
