  1. OMG! The sky is falling attitude again. I'll need to take a two week break from the board.
  2. Wow! What a great time capsule of the '99 season. A video like that today would be a lot different. If we played Boise St. at Apogee today the atmosphere would be electric. Times are changing for the better. Better facilities, fans, coaches & athletes.
  3. A definate sign of great coaching is the team gets better every week! Of course, you can't say that about the D. Boys!
  4. You're correct. It's a great video for the football team. By the way, where's the North Texas Model A Ford that used to be around 10 years ago? Last time I remember seeing it was in New Orleans at one of the Bowl games.
  5. For a guy in his late 40's he looks old. A face for Radio fur shure!
  6. I remember watching Mac play a Strickland MS in Denton as QB. Even then he was a very smart player and had a good arm, but of course that was Middle School football. This Saturday will be something completely different!
  7. The defensive stand was epic! The 8 plays Rice had just inches from the goal line was some of the best North Texas football I've seen in 27 years. It will now be known as "8th & goal" in our NT football folklore.
  8. Starting at 9PM I35E will have the left land closed between Teasley and Loop 288 Well this is the beginning of 4 years of traveling I35E headaches, but it is 20 years overdue. Closures will be in place from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., Tues., Oct. 29 through Thurs., Oct. 31: left lane of southbound I-35E between Teasley Lane and Loop 288. The left lane of northbound I-35E frontage road from Pockrus Page Road to just of north of the Denton Regional Medical Center entrance. Access to the hospital will be maintained. The inside left lane of eastbound Mayhill Road under the I-35E bridge.
  9. I think we should have fans dress up as either the Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Green Goblin or The Incredible Hulk for this Halloween Game! Or any other green Super Hero you can think of!
  10. Sorry, If this has been posted before, but here's a TD run by Desmond White vs. SGP.
  11. Where did the projectile land? Oh, the camera person followed the smoke like something was going to land on the field!
  12. He's a good kid & a friend of my son. He'll bring the Guyer hard work ethic with him for sure
  13. That's been there at Pourhouse for a while.
  14. My next door neighbor is a UTEP grad. We have to beat them in all sports.
  15. The Homewood Suites is the most expensive, but it the best hotel in Denton.
  16. Here's the video I shot and edited back in the day while I worked at The Center for Media Production at UNT. The 10th anniversary of the 2002 New Orleans Bowl win over Cincinnati is on Dec. 17th. It was a good time in New Orleans so relive the memories!
  17. All 5 of my HDTV TV/Monitors in the household are LCD Vizio's. The latest two are 3D models that are more like a computer.
  18. Photo taken while driving down Southbound 35E on Sunday, July 26, 2012. This post has been promoted to an article

  22. I have a good story from back in the day when Dickey was coach over at the old practice fields Vic Trilli shows up to watch practice. The receivers were running drill routes catching the ball from a backup QB. Dickey walks over by the drill to watch and Trilli asks Dickey "Shouldn't the receivers catch the ball out in front" of them and Dickey responds by saying "I just want them to catch the freakin' ball" GREATNESS!
  23. LOL, they are not related. By the way I miss the Green Derby Tavern.
