  1. I think $40-50 is more reasonable.
  2. I enjoyed reading it...now that we are off of it! Next step...we have to get off the waiting list and stay off. Go Mean Green
  3. The bottom line is that Thompson has very little experience, and because of that, he is going to make some mistakes that could really hurt our chances of winning. I just hope he doesn't "try to hard" to help us win, and try to force throws.
  4. I know this has probably been posted somewhere- is the new stadium going to have seats or benches? The endzone bleachers at Fouts (where I usually sit at Fouts) killed my back last saturday. Also, from my perspective, it didn't look like 23K at the game last saturday. Maybe its just the way Fouts is constructed/reconstructed, but those empty bleachers in the endzone, really make it look empty. When I was a student at NT, I remember the push to add "the bleachers" to the endzone so we would have a stadium big enough to make it to D1. I can't wait for the new stadium to open. Go mean green.
  5. I think had we not had Canales, the time of possession would have been flipped the other way, and Clemson would have at least scored 50, maybe more. I do see some improvement on defense, but watching linebackers not wrap up people when they tackle them is getting really old. I don't think Craig Robertson had a very good game outside of the big interception. There were also a few plays where our D-line was blown back 5 yards. I'm excited about this season, as I saw signficant improvement yesterday on both sides of the ball. I really want revenge against Rice after they embarassed and whipped us a couple of years ago. Also, I think there is a good chance we may not have Dunbar next year. Yes, I think he is that good.
  6. Kind of makes you wonder if there were other issues. I doubt Dodge would just let a good athlete leave the program like that. Good luck in Missouri Dez...
  7. I heard this on the radio as well. The announcement started as....attention mean green fans. It was kind of nice to hear that...finally someone is concerned about our needs. It sounds like Time Warner is going to drop ESPNU. I'm just hoping that we can get out of death valley without any significant injuries.
  8. I agree- what's good for the belt, is good for NT. I think MTSU has a decent chance to beat some good teams, particularly Minnesota. I think they have no chance to beat teams outside of the Belt without Dasher. I read the reports online, and it doesn't sound good for Dasher.
  9. I love that Rodge is getting some reps. I think he should at least go under center 3-4 times a game. This adds another dimension to our offense, and one that teams will have to prepare for. I just hope Rodge can stay healthy. I remember seeing him play receiver at Fouts as a true freshman, and thinking to myself...man that kid is an athlete, and the next play he got hurt.
  10. This is the first GMG podcase that I have listened to- nice job, well done. RV is impressive, and very open.
  11. Very nice...I can't wait until the first game in the new stadium
  12. In order for us to see Todd Dodge in the new stadium, he must win 6 games this year. I think the only way he stays if he wins less than 6 games is if we knock off Clemson or K-state. It would really be great to see K-state lose to the Sun Belt two years in a row. I think we have a shot at K-state, but I think the Clemson game may get ugly.
  13. Come on Vito....4-8? I guess you don't believe in the mean green. I'm guessing 7-5 or 8-4. I think they lose to Clemson and K-state, but beat either Middle Tennessee or Troy.
