Mean Green, Some posters are not very bright. Leach, Leavitt,and coach Fran have had issues of self control and NCAA violations. If UNT hires these guys it will get worse!!! Both men had very good OC and DC under them. RV said the coach is like a CEO. Well better fork out the money for the OC and DC if this program is going to win.Head Coach is as good as his coaches. Also,the high school coaches that were, so bad, set alot of Meangreen Records on offense and Sunbelt records. From Day one that Dodge got here, the Defense was terrible and we had a HS coach and a College guy as a DC. The next Head coach that comes in, he better get a DC that can stop a team for less than 35 points a game. Facts are facts,if our defense could of held teams,TD would still be here. Another thing, Canales has not put up the numbers of the HS coaches yet that were here before.Of course, we will make excuses for him because of injuries. We will see!!!!!!!!. Same bad tackling and schemes again for 2010.Gave up another 423yds and 35 points,back to the averages again for the last 3 years!!! Glad QB Parker had a bad day or they would of scored 50 plus.Inside LB's are undersized !!!!!! Our offense have set UNT records all over the place the last 3 years If we hold Rice to under 400yds and 35points that will be a first in 3years.

TCU was much more athletic than Boise State but, Boise State was more discipline. Who won that Bowl game. Their DC didn't go, well, they have better players. Be careful NTFB4life, the last time I posted something about The Great DC .I found myself on a Suspension list on the forum. I would open up all positions in the spring. The experience we have is false. UNT 3-21 the last 2 years, our experience is knowing how to lose. If these guys want to start, (that you have listed), Then, they need to pay the price in the off season and earn thier jobs. Basically,these players have not done the job. Dunbar and Carey I feel are the only players that proved by thier game performance last season. Sorry posters, it is a fact. Play the players that would put it all on the line everyday and you will win. If you miss the spring, you become second team.

UNT has to play Defense to win. You posters are from Texas. You guys know this. This is Football Country!!!!!! Offense Averaged 28 points a game We have a top running back Soph. Our line is good The recievers are good. Our QB's will be real good. We Averaged 420yds per game Special teams What a improvement from last 2 years Defense UNT gave up 37 points a game. Our Defense gave up 400 plus yds per game Missed Tackles Corners not playing the ball Playing to much base Defense Players out of position (Gilmore finally moved to end and AK to small to play end) and playing the same old players with out giving other players a chance to stop the bleeding. After a turnover, make a play to get a field goal rather than a automatic Touchdown Bottom line, All Mean Green Fans want to win on this board. If we play defense this year, we are possibly in a bowl game. What Does Mean Green Stand for? DEFENSE RV needs to spend his money wisely. Pay for Good DC. Let our DC now coach the LB's.
