There is no way that DW is with the team next Fall. I am a DW fan, but I don't want him on our team if he will not put in the work/effort to get better and is a liability off the field and in the locker room. Very disappointing to hear Mac talk about AM starting next year. Here is to hoping that Means really shows us something in the Spring. Althoug I think if he was really special, Mac would have taken his redshirt off after benching DW.

Good win. Defense won this one. If FIU's offense had scored one touchdown they would have beat us. Disappointed that we did not see DW for at least one series. This is on you Mac- we are going into another year without a quarterback. Little Mac is not the guy. Nice ASN broadcast- the stands were empty in the second half- looked like maybe 500 in the stands.

I share your concern for 2015. The cupboard is looking pretty empty (I am sure Mac wouldn't say this now). I hate to say this, but I don't think we will be back to a bowl for a long time. Go Mean Green- Beat UTSA

I really don't think we beat FAU- I think they beat themselves- they probably played their worst game of the year. I think we played okay, but 3 points in the second half? Disappointed that we didn't see more Dajon Our passing game needs alot of work- disappointed that we only threw the ball 16 times

Driving the bus with Minimac is good for about 20 points every week, which will not win us another game this year. I am not sure where we are going from here, but I bet DW will not start another game for us. I would rather go 2-10 and be ready to go next year vs going 5-7 or 6-6 by some small miracle and not knowing what we have going into next year at the QB position.

McNulty did not lose this game, but I do not think that he was capable of winning this game (I do not think that he could have played better) Rice will have a lot of tape on McNulty, and a lot these easy throws to Harris will not be there next Saturday. I hope I am wrong. Go Mean Green. Beat Rice

Agree. I am concerned about our QB situation next year. We will not win games with this offense and 20 points per game, particularly since we have a defense that gives up so many yards/points.

Damn it McCarney- I don't care that we are +2 on turnovers and "came up a little short" We got our ass beat in nearly every aspect of the game. Not the post-game interview responses that I wanted to hear.

McNulty did better then expected, but he is not our guy. He lead the offense to 20 points. He did not throw any TDs. He could have easily had 3-4 interceptions. I am sure DMac will go with him the rest of the year. Sadly, I don't think we will not win another game this year.

I went to UNT for undergrad then University of Texas Medical Branch. I would never claim to be a UT fan or have gone to UT. My Dad does not understand why I am not a UT fan or claim to have gone to UT. I have a neighbor who is a die hard OU fan- he went to UTD. He grew up in Oklahoma.

Disappointed in attendance. Walked over to the student side during the 2nd quarter- the alumni side looked fairly empty. Students are doing their part, alumni need to step it up. Very happy with the results of the game- would have loved to have the first shut out in 124 games. Regardless of how the rest of the season turns out, it will be considered a winning season to me after beating down SMU like that. Really hoping that we can hang on to Skladany for a few more years. If we make it to another bowl this year based on a solid defense, there will be some folks coming after him.

I hate to admit it, but SMU looked a little better then we did against UT last night. I agree that Baylor is definitely better competition. Their quarterbacks didn't look good, but Baylor's defense is very good. Matt Davis concerns me- he seems like he may have some potential to hurt us.

It really bothers me that DW, as a true freshman nearly beat out DT, our future HOF quarterback. Fast forward one year- he is now a 3rd string quarterback, backing up a guy that he beat last year (little mac).

Very proud of our defense- especially since they were on the field all night. I bet Texas ran 95-100 plays. I was very impressed with our defense particularly the first quarter- lots of good stops. They definitely seemed to wear down our defense towards the end. Wallace, Buyers and Akunne were a few that really stood out.

The fact that we did not see DW last night concerns me. I would be very surprised if DW is with the team next Fall. I was surprised that DMac pulled Greer in the second quarter- I at least thought that he would give him a full half. I am worried about next Saturday. Without a quarterback we will be lucky to win 2-3 games this year in CUSA. Rice lost to a good Notre Dame team yesterday but looked pretty good in the process. Rice
