He loses all credibility by putting the Pac 10 and Big East ahead of the Big 12. Especially the Big East which includes Cincinatti and South freakin Florida.

I was critical of Scottie's brutally honest opinion on the state of NT Athletics a few years ago. What hit me wrong was the timing of the article/opinion on the message board. But I apoligized to Scottie for laying into him like I did. I posted on the mean and green board from time to time. What I did like about Scottie's board was that I could cuss like a sailor. No censorship (sorry Harry!). I liked that.

Scottie has shut down the Mean and Green message board.

You should also know, at or during their move to the WAC, the Boise St President publicly stated that the university's goal was to become a member of the Mountain West Conference. I'd say they have a good shot at their goal within the next couple of years. A plan was set from the top person at Boise St. and they are working the plan.

What a slap in the face to Native American Indians. In and of itself, labeling "Indians" as “hostile and abusive" by the NCAA is the crime being committed. What a bunch PC crap!

Looking at the top end of their schedule, WKU will be one battered team by mid-season.

I've only been to Cajun Field. I agree with the sitelines and "almost bowl" look, but the place is old and really needs a facelift. Too much grass growing through the cement cracks and the whole place could use a good pressure washing/sand blasting job. Still a nice stadium.

Holy cow! They even have to buy a private seat license before they can purchase the $600 season tickets. Unbelievable!

If SOW does not appear anywhere on the new uniforms, then what we are seeing is the "debranding" of a North Texas tradition, the Eagle, that has been with this university for many years. I'll be disappointed.
