And since when was the Talons organization "given" posters to promote a game? Make them! Hell, we had table tents and door hangers made back BEFORE we were spoon fed $10,000 in student service fees. We lost to the defending national champions by 49. SMU lost to Texas Tech by 42. Tech won't stay within 2 touchdowns of Texas, bank on it. So we lost to a superior team by a whole touchdown more.

Went to meangreensports.com and tried to look for tickets online. The "best seats available" were in section B row 6. That's close to the ends of the stands.

Actually I went to UNT. They teach current events there. All kinds of neat things were learned in that class, like that we became UNT 18 years ago or that SMU even this many years after the death penalty is still a joke everywhere in DFW...even on SMU's campus.

Our students flee to Dallas and the rest of the metroplex because Denton is so slow and dead on the weekends A more "big city" feel could be just what the doctor (and athletic department) ordered. Well, that and a community that doesn't try to pretend they're not in a COLLEGE town.

Has ANYBODY noticed that it was Beau Davidson that made it a point to emphasize the importance of running the ball and not Dickey? Or, has ANYBODY noticed that Dickey's quotes along with Davidson's might have been patched together to make for a cohesive story and might be just a little out of context when read together? Anyone?
