While I agree that one QB a class is a good idea, I do see this next class as having 2 or 3. We have Derek T this year and next. If they sign in the 2013 class, they could redshirt for DT's Senior year, and then take the reins and start the new era. I know I know, nobody likes what we have behind DT for "if" or "when" he goes down. I have a strange feeling that McNulty and Osborn will provide a better supporting cast if it should come to that this coming year. We'll see I guess. Plus, the wild card of Cooper Jones. Nobody seems to know what this kid is at this point. Hopefully our o-line can continue to gel and protect better and better. Maybe being the UNT quarterback won't be so dangerous this next year. I can't wait to see. Go Mean Green!

Not saying we couldn't have used this young man, but it sure appears he was replaced fairly quickly and easily. I like dmac and company's recruiting so far. I hope next year is another step forward, and then maybe we won't have last minute defectors next recruiting season. Or maybe fewer... Who knows.

I immediately thought lb and safety when the Tyler kids' verbals were discovered. Qb and rb are often times simply the best athletes on their high school teams. I like the strategy.

Secret Sources or sauces... The most significant tidbit regarding realignment has been a recruit stating part of the sales pitch from our coaches includes potentially moving to cusa. It would really be nice to hear more than that.

I doubt all the kids at rb will remain there... I keep thinking about how successful Patterson has been at bringing rb's in and teaching them other positions like Hughes the pass rushing specialist now playing for the colts.

Recruiting this year has been solid. We have some kids getting stolen, but that is part of the game. I am not depressed at this point in the least. I don't like losing lafrance. To a lesser extent, in a position of strength, we might lose a second to smu. I don't like smu, and I don't want to lose anything to the pink polo brigade. HOWEVER, I like the rest of the class, and I have so much confidence our coaches will develop these young men, maximizing their potentials as individual players and as a team. I trust in Dmac, chico, and the new dc... I am not depressed... Not in the least. See you Feb 1st. Go mean green!

I know... I was being overdramatic for effect. The biggest loss to me is Royce Lafrance, but again, all this needs to remain in perspective. I don't like losing to smu in anything... the pink polos don't deserve to get anything from us other than a beatdown...for their arrogance... other than that, meh I still like how this class is shaping up. Hopefully next year DMAC and company can take yet another step forward as I feel this class is from the previous year. of course all this is predicated on developing said recruiting classes... we shall see.

I'm not sure I could be happy about this...but then again, SMU's most famous years were a result of blatant cheating... they get to move up. UCF has had recent success...boom, we all find out they were "cheating", and they get to move up. It is plain to me. We may have to oversign and cheat to compete in the current college football world. Maybe I just need to set aside any kind of morals, and just accept it. If all of this happens, I couldn't tell you how happy I'd be with this class. "Busby committed to UNT a couple of weeks ago." So, we heard some reports that a couple of DB offers were apparently pulled...due to positions being filled already in this class. I think we heard something similar about Azuka Akozar(dt out of wylie)...the offer got pulled because of "unt filling its spots at this position"... or something like that. So, was it aaron curry? was it???? HMMM.. I think we've got another DT commit out there that we don't have confirmed yet. Go Vito Go!
