  1. Wisconsin ran the ball for almost 230 yards yesterday and opened massive holes against a team that had 9 men in the box. If it wasn't for horrible clock management at the end of both halves and a missed field goal they win that game easily. Throw in some improbable 3rd and long conversions by TCU and you have a close win by them. They played as well as they could but they lose that game 8 out of ten times.
  2. Auburn also beat legitimate FBS powerhouses, TCU beat one, in their last game of the season. I don't count Utah as beating a top tier FBS team since they beat absolutely nobody all season.
  3. You are writting a dissertation? Your spelling and grammar are horrible. I bet you fail, at your fictional college, and in life. If you ever teach college I will shoot myself in the face.
  4. I don't think so. He obviously cannot read defenses or throw the ball out of bounds and takes too many sacks. If he can't read a college defense, he can't read a NFL defense.
  5. Where the hell did they get these refs from? No wonder they have won 61 games in a row at home...
  6. I will honestly be a little dissapointed if we lose tonight. I don't really expect us to win tonights game, but I think we can. I think it will be a pretty close game and I look for it to be a single digit loss or a UNT win. I think if we defend well and get to the line and hit open 3's then we can win. We need outstanding night's from every player that plays to pull it off. JJ has raised the expectations around here so much that our fans should expect a great game and a chance to win. We have a great team, a great coach, and a great system. We need to stay out of foul trouble and we need guys to help George on the glass. I am excited to see how it all plays out.
  7. This was an awesome win, I couldn't be more proud of our team!
  8. Is it me or does his arm look alot better than last year? I like the occasional shots down the field and for the most part he has put the ball on the money.
  9. This team goes into games with a plan and executes that plan, it's like night and day!

  11. When I see that lineup I think more of how we be at a huge athletic advantage against most opponents. Long on the outside and athletic at every position on the court.
  12. Did we really win by about 20, and who performed well for us?
  13. I just want to win games. Right now we are in the Sun Belt so I want to win games while we are in the Sun Belt. If we move to CUSA I want to win games while we are in CUSA. If we move to another conference I want to win games while we are in that conference. I just want to win.
  14. We are building a $78 million football stadium. If we aren't going to offer competitive salaries and field a good team, why would they make such an investment in the football program?
  15. Neinas: "You guys need a new coach" RV: "Yeah, we hired you to help us find the right guy" Neinas: "Where is my money?"
  16. I am sorry that you consider simple facts such as Auburns schedule blows TCU's out of the water as "hot air". I also have stated that Boise should get a chance to play for the championship if the chips fall that way because they have done a good job scheduling OOC games. TCU should not, they play nobody, at all. Oregon State @ 3-3 is by far the best team they have played. They will play a good Utah team later in the season, and that is all they have to hang their hats on.
  17. LOL @ Baylor. They are going to lose the last four games of the season and finish 6-6, meaning that they would have lost to every single team in the Big 12 South, and won 3 games against the bottom feeders of the Big 12 North.
  18. Don't tell me they can't find someone better than Tennessee Tech. I know in a year or two they have a series with LSU and that is great. Oregon State was a good idea and a pretty good team. SMU, Baylor and Tennessee Tech are horrible to put on a schedule when you are in a bad conference and your coach speaks about playing for national championships. They need to play a couple of high level BCS teams and a couple of mid-level BCS teams every year if they want to be mentioned in the national championship picture. I am all for them making a BCS game, I am just not for them in a national championship game when they play two teams a season that have a chance to beat them, two teams that are in the top 50, and 8 teams that are among the worst in college football. Boise State is another story, they have worked hard to play a tougher OOC schedule and they could possibly play for the national championship.
  19. I never said the tough schools should schedule scrubs, but if that is what they want to do that is fine, they are still playing a much tougher schedule that TCU. It is not ok for TCU to go out and play an entire season schedule where they never play any team that is very good and claim that they are national championship contenders...
  20. I hate the BCS and am not a fan of any of its conferences. I do however, have great respect for the SEC as a football conference. If we have a playoff I think that would be best, but I think that teams should compete regionally to decide who goes to the playoffs.
  21. A team just loses a chance to play for a national championship and instead plays Utah. Yeah, they were dissinterested no doubt. Utah was also very prepared and played a great game, Alabama did not.
  22. TCU did beat Oklahoma one year when OU didn't have a QB and was 8-5 I think. In 2008, however, TCU lost 2 games, to Utah 13-10 in a game in which TCU dominated (Utah beat up a disinterested Alabama team in the BCS) and was manhandled by Oklahoma 35-10.
  23. I don't think the system is rigged, watch the damn games! TCU's OOC schedule is at best, marginally better than Auburn's is, and their conference schedule is lightyears behind. I don't understand the sudden urge to reward teams for playing in weak conferences. If this were the case TCU and Boise would be best suited playing in the worst conference they can be in. Again, I think Boise has done a great job with their OOC schedule, I don't think TCU has. A couple of years ago when TCU was playing Texas or Oklahoma OOC you didn't hear them in the national championship conversation did you? You know why? Because they were losing those games.
