I think the D is playing very well considering they've been in for most of teh 1st half. 3 and outs from our O don't give them enough rest. Remember, these are the defending national champions. Moral victories suck a fat one, but I think NT looks way better than teh game 2 years ago.

Yes, because as an American I don't give a rats a$$ about the rest of the world when it comes to sports. Besides, American athletes are "usually" the best in the world. Yes, the gap is closing in basketball & baseball, but to me it doesn't matter. I'd take an American athlete over a foriegner any day of the week (if both athletes were unkown).

I'm lovin' this!!! The Steelers front office have much love for guys from "Non-BCS" conference schools. They drafted Rothloesberger, Omar Jacobs, and now have our lovable Patrick Cobbs. They recognize talent. I'm very happy for him!!

The 3-4 seems to be growing trend in the football world today. LB talent is easier to find than a good Dlineman. The 3-4 relies on two very important things: #1 - Linebacker talent. Obviously, with an extra LB in this formation they are the key. #2 - Noseguard play. This guy must be big enough, strong enough, quick enough, and smart enough to anchor the interior line. He covers 2 gaps on every single play. As for Charles, interior defense is the key, IMO. If he's in teh secondary, it's alreadt too late.

Hey, I'm already on the WW bandwagon and I've yet to see him play!!! As for the DD quote regarding competition between the 3 QB's.... His comment makes me think that his guy has been and always will be Meager. Phillips and Wilson never had a shot. As soon as Meager is capable of playing, he will be the starter. Book it.
