well, i ran into my roomate from freshman orientation 4 years ago who said that one of his exg-girlfriend's cousins who got her undergrad degree from NT in '05 and is now back working on her master's was hungry and stopped by chicken express where she ran into JQ who told her that he had recently talked to one of PC's roomates and was told that PC will be signing with the falcons soon.

i think geography has a lot to do with it. what major rivalries are there that have no geographic proximity. the only one i could really think of is USC v. ND. With a relative inability of students to travel to many of the away games, it makes it hard to heckle opposing parents.

this potential move to the 3-4 excites me. it at least shows that our coaching staff is not content to run the same team on the field as last year. i almost feel that any changes from last year are good changes.

i love how logo/color talk can blow up at any moment. that is evidence to the fact that we must stick with these new designs. i too prefered the darker green, but i'll support the new stuff just hoping it won't change again.

yeah, i used to hear the commercial and get upset, but i heard it recently and he refered to us as "the university of North Texas". i was shocked. i also heard him say last night that they were broadcasting from "denton...the university of north texas who some of us call north texas state...".

don't get me wrong, i love mike and mike and galloway is funny sometimes, but "the little ball of hate" drives me up the wall.
