Here is a list of the general information for the 2007 Green vs. White Spring Game. Date: Sunday, April 22 Time: 3 pm kickoff Parking: Parking at Fouts Field will be free. Admission is FREE, Enter through Gate 1 - Free Rosters and game information will be distributed at Gate 1. Seating: Fans are encouraged to sit on the West Side of Fouts Field. Tailgating: Starts Early, Ends Late - The Fouts Field parking lot will be open all weekend for Tailgaters to begin preparation for the Spring Game. RV's, Campers, Tents, Tables, Chairs and Grills are all welcome in the Fouts Field parking lot. Live Entertainment: Live music will begin at 1 pm. Performance by local favorite King Creole. The stage will be located outside of the Mean Green Village. Season Tickets: 2007 Season Tickets can be purchased at the Spring Game at Gate 1. North Texas Ticket Office personnel will be on hand at Gate 1 to take your order and answer any questions you may have. Concessions: Concession stands will be open on the West side of Fouts Field. Full service menu (Hot Dogs, Nachos, Popcorn, etc...) including Dippin Dots, Pretzels and frozen treats. Credit Cards will be accepted at Main Concession stand. What do I expect for the Scrimmage? The Spring Game will be 80 plays and will end at approximately 4:30 pm. Internet Streaming Available: If you can not be at the Spring game, you can watch all the action on MeanGreenSports.com

Trips to New Orleans.

Did anyone catch the segment about the basketball team on this past Sunday's Sports Special ? I don't normally watch Hansen on Sunday nights, but thought since Joe Trahan was in New Orleans that they might have something on the Mean Green. It was a really nice piece. Lasted about 5 minutes, started with the team flying out from Dallas, followed them around New Orleans and ended with some post game comments. More great exposure for the Mean Green. GO MEAN GREEN !!!

Join Dr. Gretchen Bataille, Head Coach Johnny Jones, and Rick Villarreal for a President’s Reception at the Astor Crowne Plaza, the official team hotel, on Thursday, March 15th starting at 5:30 pm. The Reception will be held in the St. Charles Ball Room which is on the first floor of the Astor Crowne Royal by the front doors. The cost of attendance of the reception will be $10 paid at the door, with each ticket including one drink ticket and appetizers. The Mean Green Radio Network will also be on hand hosting a live radio show with George Dunham, Hank Dickenson, and Stephen Bartolotta. Special guests will be on hand to join the broadcast throughout the night. The Mean Green will be playing Memphis on Friday, March 16th at the New Orleans Arena in the 1st Round of the NCAA Tournament at 11:30 am.
