Do you think he should have taken his courses at TCU and enrolled full-time at UNT?

Like this…love the shout out, though
It seems lately more transfers are giving shout outs to their previous teams. Nice touch.

With the current state of College Sports, we will probably see fewer and fewer players drafted from G5 schools, as it seems most who have "draft" potential enter the portal.
-
It looks like he also played RB. They could probably add a few pounds and/or maybe move him to LB. He seems to have decent speed on his film and did well against some larger OL.

Trivia question: Since Chandler Morris has been in college, his father has coached at Auburn, South Florida, and Clemson. Which of these schools did Chandler Morris attend while his father coached there?

Led?
Leading is taking a team that DOESN’T have more resources than all of its opponents to a place they haven’t been before…it is not taking an already successful program with incredible resources to the place that they will naturally reach.
I’d like to see how he’d do at a place with few resources and without an established tradition of dominance…maybe a place like North Texas. Guess we’ll never know how that would turn out though. 🤔
I saw where someone had posted that when he has coached teams that were not high-spending locations that could afford the best of everything, his teams have losing records.

So, as of now, just speculation. I would hope Chandler would be upfront with our staff about his intentions, but the waiting to sign bothered me a bit.

Transfers do not sign. "Offical" is once they enroll and start classes.

No one can ever say the staff at DCTF does not show their biases.

I would guess we will have some get invited to camps, but I am doubtful anyone will be drafted (at least those who finished their careers here).

Sucks, but they have the boosters to play in this new game (for now).

Reports are out there that Ohio State is spending 13 million dollars on its 2024 roster -

I know some argue that we need to stay at the "top division," but the reality is that most of the schools in FBS will not be able to compete.

Cameron Lewis, HS OL out of Rosenberg Terry, not included. I think I found my answer.
Not really sure what happened with this young man. Nothing on his X; in fact it doesn't look like he has posted anything since November.

Caponi should be out there recruiting his guys hard. Can’t blame Morris solely on this problem. Offensive players will look at the air raid offense and the results last year and would be enticed to come. The defense? Different story
Never said I'm blaming more solely. Myself and most on here are going after Caponi very hard. My only question is, is he getting support to get the players in that he needs. I know JD mentioned up top you can only bring in so many in certain positions, but to be honest if you're the worst defense in the nation you might have been better off telling some players they might be better off looking elsewhere.

Gotta like the chicken 💩 eyeroll. Most likely a woke fan of places like SI that stop focusing on what they were once good at, and tried to get into the social influence game. Doesn't always work out well when you lose sight of who your core audience is.

Great information thank you for sharing. The results of the transfers up to this point shine a focus on to where Morris's commitment is. I have not been the biggest fan of Caponi, but if your boss is not going to give you the tools to do your job correctly it makes it an uphill battle. If having the worst defense in football didn't shake up Morris and have him focus on adding players then I don't know what will.

TCU is having open tryouts to try to find some players to help them.

Would really like to see a effort anywhere similar to the offensive line for signing defensive lineman
