As I said in numerous threads on more than 1 messageboard. Memphis is better than we are at every position. They should beat us soundly. HOWEVER, if they're a bit off, and we have an outstanding game we have a shot. Memphis won't cover the 18.5 line IMHO, but they'll get close. ****I really hope I'm wrong, but this isn't me being negative, it's being realistic******

??? Gonazaga was never a 15 seed. The 15 to beat the Orangemen was Richmond in '91.

Indeed, your propensity for causing turnovers is what troubles me the most(I think most of us can agree our 9 TO's against ASU was an anomoly...it's usually twice that). We have guys who can run, but yall have a fantastic transition game, easily dwarfing ours. If the breaks go right we have a chance, but as I've said several times - you're the prohibitve favorite with good reason. I'm predicting a 17 point loss by us.

Just to continue, even though I felt Memphs was the weakest 2 seed...there are about 15 teams I think that can win the whole shebang. The Tigers are one of them. They're basically better than us at every position. That said, all it takes is KD and Watson to get hot& Memphis to have an off shooting day for us to be in it. They'll out athlete us, we have to make up for it in hustle and shooting. Prelim Prediction: Memphis 91 NT 74 (By game time I'll be predicting a win...but I'm still sensible right now )

All time 15 seeds are 4-84. Roughly that's 4.76%. The odds are definitely long. Granted 16 seeds are 0-88. So I'll take my chances.

Graduation rates typically only count kids that have gone thu all 4 years of the program...so no transfers. I didn't read the article either however.

Indeed, I've seen yall play about 5 games this year. And yes, Dorsey is a stong presence down low. But typically I thought he was used as a scavenger to get boards and put backs, not as a first option. Similar to how UCLA uses their Center.

I'm definitely watching the game...already got the March Madness on Demand thing(I'm sure NT won't be the televised game here).

Not all the time for a 1st round matchup. Since those games are usually yawners, they're usually in the morning/day session.

Out of the 8 possible opponents there were, it's the best matchup for us. Face it....any of the top 8 woulda been a lousy matchup.

I'm looking at my finances, figuring if I can swing the trip. I can fly there Th-Sunday for 389 bucks. Of course that isn't food...hotel...or the time I'll miss from work. So prolly not.

I had Memphis as the weakest #2, so this was probably our BEST case scanario. That said, our odds are very long, and Memphis could win the whole thing.

Memphis likes to run and hit the three. They don't honestly have much of an inside game. Very athletic squad, likes to make flashy plays. We have our work cut out for us, but I think Memphis is the weakest #2.

Not necessarily true....seeds have changed on the last day before according to the folks who run the committee. Every year is different.

Almost every year actually. Kentucky and Wake Forest are hosting for instance this year.
